Keep the double din in, find a cheap one and throw it in there if you want to sell it, what mount and install kit did you use though? I cut the bar below the vents behind the dash, and It fits, I just need the install kit.

A dash is rather inexpensive and GPs are a dime a dozen so I imagine if it came a point where you wanted to sell the car you would have no problem getting it back to stock.

Before you do that, I "clay barred" my old 97 before it committed suicide. Car almost looked new after it. Definately worth the 2 hours.

I suppose i should update some of this, I have been working 90+ hours per week. So not much time for me. Let alone my car. A few months ago i blew a fuel line inside the tank. Hacked it together on the side of the interstate on my way to work. Anyways i quit, so i have had some time to get to work on the car!

day 1, i cleaned it. and pulled the fuel pump back out and put a new line on it. Yeay! No more taking for ever to start because it leaks off fuel pressure!
day 2, i put metal coolant elbows on the car, Fixed low coolant light!
day 3, i decided to get the dash fixed/ it had been hacked up for the last 4-5 months. (this is still in progress)

In near feature/ by the end of this year i hope.
    1. New metal limg (just wanna get metal in there) while replacing supercharger oil/cuppler
    2. Figure out why cylinder 4 has a miss (my guess is bad injector), and fix issue.
    3. Install new valve cover gaskets. I bought then 5 or so months ago, But i got it to stop leaking by cleaned the old ones up and added some blue rtv.
    4. install new drilled/slotted rotors
    5. install slp headers, and highflow cat, while fixing the non-existent rear o-2 sensor.
    6. Figure out why the purge valve is messed up (after i have replaced it)
    7. install lowering springs, both axles, inner and outter tie rods, and lower control arms, motor and trans mount
    8. install scan gauges (i have 3) and the pillar
    9. install new head lights and led tail lights

(would like to get done this year but dont expect to)
    10. send car to get painted
    11. new windshield
    12. tint windows

The car now has 119,xxx miles on it! looking forward to parking it as a garage queen within the next 5k miles.

    Some pictures

Made good use of some vac line

    some test fitting

and this is how it stayed for 4-5 months. (had to go back to work)

used some Styrofoam to mold it. then used my old shirt as the matt lol.

    test fit for left side

    start on right side

    still more to do

left to do shape left side a little more. then sand and sand and sand.. then throw around the idea of putting the bar across and moving the a/c down... we will see.
