You are beating a dead horse man lol. I already looked at the directions online for the intake I am getting. It is way to complicated for me I am not messing with pulling out oxygen sensors and possibly damaging something along with multiple screws that can be lost. No one is going to convince me otherwise. But thanks

Even worse, I have to drill and stuff and make homemade stuff which I am more hesitant than putting together a pre-assembled kit . I will say it again, thanks but no thanks, I have made up my mind and you all are beating a dead horse XD

Yours is an 04 GP correct? If it is it is just like mine and it does not have the oxygen sensor, it has ta MAF sensor. That means no need to put holes to put that in.

Just take out the whole air box, Zip tie the PCM to the base of where the air box used to sit, Then get the cone filter and clamp it into the end of the MAF and zip tie it to something so it stays still and you are done. I am guessing your car is not from CA like mine and dont need further Modding to make it work with the extra hose that mine had, so compared to mine yours is much easier to do. BUT thats your choice

Check out the link in my signature, just buy a $30 cone filter from Auto Zone and slap it on the end of the MAF, and enjoy the mad amounts of blower whine compared to stock.

    Otherwise, it looks great...sweet choice.

Recently was on the highway and decided to go WOT since I have the car a while. So I decided to open the car up. I tell ya for stock its really moves. Got the car up to 100 mph quicker than I expected.

I might just go CAI, Plugs and Wires and be done since it is fast enough for me. But you never know. I really only want 25hp or so if I do go further than a cold air intake. Might just go headers a 3.6 pulley along with a tune and be done.

I always stick with 91, they don't sell 92 here or I would use that since that is what the owners manual calls for.

    Quick Update for you guys.

Recently had all my gaskets replaced where I purchased the car which was under drive train warranty. Now there is no leaks and hopefully it stays that way for awhile. They could not fix my HUD since it was not covered under the drive train that came along with all their used cars.

I also went upstate to visit my uncle last week who owns a dealership that was no cost to me, I had my transmission flushed along with a fuel and transmission filter changed. I intended to have him fix the HUD when I found out it was beyond repair. So before I go up again, I will have to call him in advanced so he can order a new HUD and replace mine if all goes well.
