wow thats crazy tell me not roof rails too haha
nah no roof rails. but this lady is like 70 years old. I'm guessing she bought that car the way it is but who knows maybes she's into modding gp's lol
haha maybe her husband was into nascar or something, theres an old lady around me who drives a 98 blue daytona with an SD hood and its clean as hell
Eh, I woulda left the bottem end alone.
Hopefully you get it rebuilt correctly, or else we'll be seeing another rebuild blow up.
i know i heard alot about rebuilds and them not working out, i have a friend who is really good with 3800's along with his dad who has built many engines and they also did 3 other 3800's and all ran well. we'll see what happens i think it will work out
Ran well is different from taking a beating. Buy a short block with low miles, best option
im not gonna buy another block i have one right here and from what i know it has low miles, but im gonna tear it down and build it. i heard stories about them blowing up but its not impossible to build one. my friend has built a couple 3800 and none ever had a problem
most of the people that said they rebuilt it and it blew again put new rod/main bearings on the Old, upturned crank. i have rebuilt be for never a problem!
well i started working on my GPO's figured id get around to them, seen them sitting and was like eh why not im not doin nothing anyway
