Drove it back up to Maine last night, got over 27 mpg for the trip beyond some spirited driving on the longer stretches. Going to start modding it this week..

Here are a few wheel choices I'm thinking about.

    19" Evo 5's

    19" CTS-V's

    19" Stern St1's

    19" TSW Nurburgring's

    20" Camaro SS wheels

Mods lined up for next month:

    -brake and brake line upgrade
    -otr intake
    -cortex superchips 93 tune
    -front stb
    -35% tint all around

How do they not fit? They are the correct bolt pattern and all are available.

I'm leaning towards the cts-v's. If I had 4K sitting around I'd get the Holden 19's. They are tits.

Oh I agree, if you go on ebay.co.au once in a while they come up used, but shipping will be retarded...

There is a guy on gr8888.net in Vegas with a set.

I think he means the Evo 5's... The CTS V's will give your car a GXP look for sure, the Camaro wheels look even better on the G8 IMO, but the problem is alot of peeps are going in that direction...

Agree on everyone going in the same direction. That's why I put the Evo 5's up. I found them in the correct offset that were on a BMW. Just want something different that I'll still like. More importantly something that I won't have to use spacers and longer studs to use the bigger brakes.

I want solo j-pipes to thwart out the drone. They sound pretty damn good.

Yeah true. If I were in your shoes, Id prob go in the Camaro direction, mainly bc there seems to be alot of new take offs on the market so prices seem good for a set... That and since its already a zeta car, you dont have any of the problems you just mentioned.

I finally did my first true mod last week. I got a solo axle back exhaust with the j-pipes and boy does it sound amazing. I'll get some in-car and start up/rev videos on here later on today. I also upgraded my speakers. I have a vararam intake on the way this week plus I'm picking up a cortex tuner and a pedders stb from a member on here as well. Slowly but surely it's coming along.

I tried ordering some off of tirerack last night. They had the camaro rims 20x9 at 89 per wheel. But of course I lost my connection and by the time I was able to get back on the were sold out...... Oh well. There is a guy local to me selling a used set for 450. I'll probably pick those up sometime this week. Chrome camaro rims with brembos all around. Can't wait.

I plasti-dipped my wheels and my hood scoops Saturday and I'm quite pleased with the results and especially how well it's held up on our lovely Maine road system, lol.

    And my solo axle back!

Going to post some up today. It's been too damn windy here for me to do anything good. I'll get some in car ones too.
