well i got a message saying i haven't posted on here in several weeks, which i guess is pretty true, so i guess i'll let you guys know what i've been up to. right as the weather here in ohio started getting cold, and as cole was nice enough to lend me an aeroforce gauge so i can start diagnosing wtf is wrong with my build (link in sig), the radiator decides it no longer needs to be sealed. not having the energy to tear it apart while it's 20 degrees out, and not having the license to get some kerosene for my heater, nor the motivation to fix something so i can continue trying to fix something else, it's on hold for an indefinite amount of time. as for the firebird, it started to take a sh!t on me. RR brake caliper frozen, rear U-joint needing fixed, headlight motor burnt out, rear defrost took a sh!t, muffler disintegrated, tires were showing cords, the list goes on and on. and i got sick of 16mpg. so i traded it in on a dream car of mine, a 2008 Chevy Cobalt SS. yes, it's the first year for the turbo LNF engine. and yes, i'm having a lot of fun with the 5-speed. i guess i'm becoming somewhat more mature, because the year of factory warranty it has left and almost 30mpg were a huge factor in buying it.
there's a picture of it on the car lot i bought it from. plans: don't break it. and possibly HIDs. haven't decided which ones, but i'd like to do 3000K foglights. the thing is plenty fast enough, and has enough torque steer the rip the wheel out of my hands. and i'm about 12 days from getting my license back after a 6-month suspension. not doing that again. what do you guys think?
