This is my 98 GTP I picked up for $750 bucks with a blown motor and the progress I have made with it.

Almost as it looks now... Lowered almost 2" and running bigger tires(only on the front til the backs finally wear out) other than having the tint redone the exterior was pretty well stock here.

The stock motor that was in it when I got it, also chunked a rod through the oil pan and bent a couple valves

Then I replaced that with an 06 L32 80K on it when I installed it. Pretty well stock in this pic aside from the obvious

Then I did 12" W-body brakes off a police impala. Powdercoated and rebuilt, and stainless lines, 5th hard line. Did that when I lowered it with GR-2's and rear sway bar with poly moutns, front poly bushings on LCA's and sway.

Next was rockers and OBX headers.

Then I blew the trans that was in the car when I bought it that had 31 miles on a rebuild. I only got about 6k miles outta the damned thing.

Replaced it with this one I got from pullapart for $102.50 with a 30 day warranty even. Me and my little brother pulled it, took an hour from the time we parked til we left. I love my cordless sawzall!!!

    Installed gauges and a wideband...

I stripped the door moldings off, still haven't welded the holes in yet.

Installed a RF sub and RF amp in a really shallow box I made.

    Intercooler setup... S2 core, S3 FMHE, 8gpm pump, 65# injectors, 3.0 mps, going E85

I installed all AN lines and did away with all factory plastic line in the engine bay when I did the ntercooler.

I made a set of fuel rails cause I'm too cheap to buy a new set.

After I installed the intercooler and started it up somehow my flexplate was bent and making a great deal of racket.

Which brings it to the current build...

    IS2 heads w/yella terra rockers

    JP double roller

IS3 Blower cam. Not running that NOS anytime soon I don't think, I'll install it after I get a built trans put in there.

Powdercoated guide rail I made for the plug wires

IC core, Ported and powdercoated LIM, Gen V blower with N* TB all waiting to go back on

Parts list waiting for some time to put this thing back together and somehow make enough room in my garage or find a shop to put the motor back in the damned thing.

I don't buy cars unless they have major problems...lol I honestly doubt I have much more than $5-6k into this whole car up to this point(including full suspension stereo and wheels/tires +purchase price) I'm really not sure on the N2O, I'm either gonna save it for when I have a built trans/5spd swap, which I'll probably be forced into soon enough. Or throw it on my GXP just for ****s and gigs

Yep, booked for like $16k private party(good condition) and I paid $2400 for it. Still waiting on the title before I actually put all the parts I bought on it, I'm starting to wonder if the people got my titlework even started. I may have to try someone else and start the 3 month process over again.

Well I usually just give them the money, sign a form and then 3-4 months later I get a tittle packet in the mail. But I called last week and left a message and haven't got a call back and just keeps going to the answer machine now.

Was pretty cold out in my garage so I had to improvise

All painted and ready to go back together.

I think I have titanium retainers too which is a nice bonus, anyone know for sure?

Gonna be bolting everything under the timing cover tonight probably and maybe do the oil pan if I get it cleaned up.

So I forgot that I didn't have a socket for the cam bolt(don't ask how I got it off, I'm not proud) But I got the thrust plate bolted down, balance shaft plate bolted down, timing chain installed, damper installed, and checked everything for clearance(good). Also put my teflon on the head studs and installed them, tossed a head on just to see it...

Got off at 11 last night from my 7th day in a row of work and for some reason had some energy left to do all this. Think it was about 5am when I came in the house lol

    Still left to do:
    Clean LIM
    Clean valve covers
    Clean blower
Install the rest of the stuff on the motor
    Sidegap my new plugs
Buy and install new R&P, PS pump, lines while motor is out
