hey i am new to this forum, i have been on thirdgen.org last 3 years cause i am a camaro person. but i just got a 2001 gtp last week, sadly i am in India for 11 more days til i can drive it! i have been here the last 2.5 months, but i sold a 96 camaro 3.8 with 270,000 miles on it before i left, I know right 270,000!? was a geat running car honestly.

you're prolly thinking if he is India how did he get a gtp? I have been lookin on craigslist in my area for one and found one and bugged the hell out of my step mom (dad is with me) telling her i want to get this when i get back! so she and her father went and got it for me with out tellin me, but i guess i buggged her about it so much she told me! haha only bugged her bout cause it was a steal for price!

anyway it's a 2001 Silver GTP 2 door, loaded. super clean, here are pics be nice to get some feedback please!

    Kohl

pictures are taken by seller, will wait to get home and get my own

missing a bolt from the driver side brace.....you still have a stock air filter annnnnd you still have that dang beauty cover on.....over all still stock....lol

but on a seriousnote...what looks like either a burn mark or grease slung up there by the coolant reservoir on the firewall

yes the bolt is obvious, and yes all stock, i am in India right now, so all i have is some pictures, sucks lol. only stock til spring.

and what looks like a burn mark is oil or something, see it is on hoo in same spot, got on belt somehow and flung on there. prolly power steering cause it was leakin, got it replaced.

but i was focused on the driverside motomount... take a look, does it look bent to you?

it could also be grease from your CV axels (just spit ballin here) and yeah you're right that upper mount looks bent...it could be the piece that is bolted directly to the motor block that is bent, or it could be the part of the mount that is bolted to the car frame. its worth checking both out when you get back

    Attempted thread jack---

Yea, somethings def up with your dog bone. The rad support doesn't look wrecked though.

But the peeling paint under the driver fog lamp seems to indicate a respray.

Overall clean car. Welcome to GPF. Whats your user on TGO?

the bushing might be torn on the dog bone.

Get another bolt for the right cross bar.
