Most people that want to run a Sub 3.0~ pulley either go with the NIC and no intercooler or a different cam/rockers and an intercooler.

But I'm going to be different. And it would be dumb of me to pull the intercooler off, just because I'm installing a NIC cam. Lower outlet blower temps will only help any situation.

Bunch of people have done it. I can think of even 2 cars local to me that have NIC cams with IC's, and they run very very well.

2002 Trans Am- 6 speed, bolt ons or something, it's slow.
2006 Silverado- forged ls2, 4l80e, plate kit, also slow...

Why would you think I am serious? lol

No way would I completely redesign the heads of a 3800 to accompany 2 camshafts per head, and eliminate the need for lifters and pushrods.

I had no idea who it was and with the ridiculous crap I see from some of these idiots I just wasn't suprised to see someone say something like that. I just about went off about custom castings and grind cams and drive mechanism and then just the WHY! factor. Then was going to throw in there's already been a DOHC 3.8 back in the late 70's-80's and just gave up. I see some of the most godawful projects that look like total crap when they are finished, I don't know if they are blind or too many "Good Jobs" for mediocrity, but it's just sad.

You're the newcomer to these groups. Took long enough.

    Have you seen my car?

    Have you seen my build?

You honestly think I would try something like build a DOHC 3800? That blows my mind. I'd have to literally redesign the whole engine.

With how my car is, I think I'm not some "idiot" like you see on the groups. I've built probably one of the best looking 97-03 Grand Prixs. Give me some credit here.

Lol, I meant him. Lately there's been some people saying they will do some off the wall things on the FB groups, RWD conversion, etc.

Oh right. That sh1t never ends. So many people on there are talk.

LS swap, RWD, AWD, etc. Come on. I'm so sick of these obsured posts that will never happen. I love people that try something new, but nobody has the money, time, or knowledge to do such a thing but just posts it on facebook to get attention.

there was a dude on facebook that said he took his springs out so he could get lower. said riding on struts was a little rough, but no problems. it wouldn't surprise be if people believed him.

That was Jame Sluiter. He's a buddy of mine, as he lives down the street. Used to have the current ZZP Cover Car. Car ran high 11's on a rocker build. Daily'd the car at 24* timing at WOT. That car was a freak, but just recently sold it and now has a 5.0 Mustang.

He trolls those groups a lot, but people believe a lot of the bullsh1t that's posted and blows my mind.
