Google shows "Digital Trunking" as a handheld digital radio scanner. I have considered getting a fixed mounted one for mine plus a nice stealth detector setup on the front and rear, but that's alot of $$$. The scanners work great so long as the officer is talking, but if they are hiding in a spot on the highway and not moving just radaring... how are you going to know he is there???

I want a Valentine so bad, but ya $400 for a radar detector is a bit extreme.

They are so expensive. My dad has one in his car with the small little add on monitor with it.works so well, and I love how it tells you which direction the cop is at, but I don't have $400 to blow on something like that.

Alright after a long winter i finally got my rims on. so went up to Discount Tire today, ended up buying some Pirelli P4 tires, $720 out the door, shoot me now. The tires have an 85,000 mile warranty/tire life to them. The car looks great though, what a big difference these make. The car and rims are very dirty, ill take some more pictures when its all cleaned up.

Rust by the gas cap just keeps getting worse i feel like, dont have the money to get it fixed so i just put some touch up paint on the rust so it doesnt look as bad. The rusting is bad cause i was painting it, it keeps flaking off. Ill have to go over it again with another coat.

Car is about to hit 137k, oh no

And i need to touch up/clean the brake calipers bad, they look awful right now.

This picture was suppose to go by the rusty gas cap post like 2 pictures up, sorry about that and the double picture post. Spending $720 threw me off a bit..

And...The new tint i got, chrome grills, chrome exhaust, and chrome rims really ties it all together. i think the car looks fabolous. now only if i had the money to fix the rust, buy an SD hood, Front air dam, and SE Spoiler. After those 3 things i would have one sweet ride IMO but you know what...Im poor so i cant afford those at the moment..

Wheels look great, the exhaust still erks me, too far out IMO.

As for the gas cap, you need to sand it back to metal and clean it up real good and get some rust corrosion primer paint and then paint it gloss black and blend it so it isn't so noticable. Bad paint job beats rusting corrosion that just spreads and spreads. If its rusted thru or on the inside tho, I don't know. Would have to get a true paint/body man to say the better way to do it, I would imagine you'd have to cut out the metal and replace to really get rid of it. But if it was chipped and rusted on the outside and then just spread, sand it out and respray.

Josh: that just adds to our to do list, Paint the engine bay and fix our rust. Boosten: It was actually the discount tire right across from grandville highschool on canal, kinda right by the mall. TLShelf: the exhaust does stick a little far but im not going to fix it cause i dont know how to weld and it still looks pretty good. Very noticeable, and thats what i wanted, tucked in about another 2 inches it would be amazing.

I feel as if 20in rims would be to much. I really want an SD hood but that's expensive, one day I'll get one. Getting the whole front window tinted is illegal, you can't even have the visor here in Michigan, the front windows are also illegal. Lol i've already been pulled over twice for tint BUT thanks for the compliment
