yay i <3 pregens, needs L67 :p
4t65 and turbo
I so WISH I could of dropped an L67 in her. But that would of taken alot more $$$$ and time. lol
Everything but the gaskets looks really good, which is awesome considering the leak it had. I can't wait to get everything cleaned up and see how much better she runs without all the smog crap gunked up in her.
girls that work on cars = hot.
Wow. Holy timing belt!
Looks like fun so far ;)
whitney come to norwalk in august and bring the prix
Cleaned up parts today for almost 7 hours. Cleaned the engine block, heads, and cams! Here is a picture of the block all yucky, and tipped on it's side..:

LOL I just noticed the random corn in the background.
well you are in wisconsin lol
Wow! Looks like your making some progress!
Good luck and can't wait to see what you end up doing with her!
(I call my car a her too!)
Great job!
I know the pain sweat and tears that goes into cleaning up motor/heads like that. The pain and tears, for me, usually comes after the rag slips and I cut 6" down my hand on those sharp cylinder edges. Then continuing to use carb choke cleaner ;)
Side note. Those heads look like they flow a lot. Too bad the 3800 never had a dohc version. But then again, something about the good ol' pushrods keeps them in the game still.
looks good!
hmm adapt DOHC heads to 3.8...
ive seen that done with nissan truck heads on a small block buick motor. old school block with DOHC
That DOHC looks like a bunch of fun! Youve made it further than most people go with those already. I spy a Ford E4OD in the back round too
hai whitney
ray, you leg humper.
