PCM should be here Tuesday or Wedensday. It was mid 80ish degrees last night and it sucked not being able to romp on it. :(

*Update*
In before "I told you so."
So I had ordered the ZZP PCM last last Monday. Never was shipped, but was in process. I called ZZP on Friday and they look in to it. I get an email a few hours later telling me the PCM was shipped. Yea all is well right? PCM arrives yesterday(Wedensday) without the $10 prepaid labor I added to my order. I take apart the bumper and I'm all excited cause I can finally beat on my car. Get it connected, and ziptied in place. Hook the battery up and go to start the car. And all it does is crank and not start. WTF? So I do the security learn procedure that is listed on their website in hopes that's what the new issue is. Then I look at the DIC and see it flashing 0.0. ****, I know what that means. Hook the old PCM back up and it fires right up.
So I give them a call today talk to someone and find out that they must have sent me a fried PCM. Awesome. They emailed me a UPS label and now I have to ground ship it back to them. Double awesome I'm going to have to wait 3-4 days for them to receive it. Then process it, then another 3-4 days for me to get a new one. Ugh, I've never had an issue with ZZP in the past. Guess theres a first for everything. All hell is going to break loose if they send me another bad one.

Are you planning on a custom tune?
At this point I'd look into one if there's someone in the area.
That sucks man, I got mine from W-Body store and have not had any issues.I've never had an issue with ZZP, but guess there is a first time for everything. Good luck!
I'm not planning on a custom tune. The reason being I'm not modifying the car anymore performance wise at this time. I have a 85 mustang 5.0 coupe sitting in the garage that needs a H-pipe and radiator. Money needs to go to that since it was just painted. Haven't driven it in two year and I'm dying to take it for a spin. :)
Contacted ZZP today. The person I spoke with today (didn't get his name) was a billion times better than the guy I spoke with Thursday. More sincere when talking and didn't come across like I didn't know what the **** I was doing. He also apoligized for the inconvience this has caused me and investigated it further. Even though they have not recieved the PCM (confirmed I shipped something through UPS) they went ahead and shipped out a new PCM. He also double checked my order as far as the options are concerned with the PCM. I recieved the tracking number and it looks like I'll be set and ready to go to the track outing on Friday. I will also be dynoing once again to see what difference the ZZP PCM makes compared to the awesome ****TY one Kuntzie sent me.
Thanks ZZP!
your car is awesome man!
Installed the ZZP PCM and made some pulls on the highway. :)

I'll be hitting up the track(1/8) tomorrow.
nice! can't wait to see the numbers you pull @ the track.
Looks pretty stout man...I bet that thing would run great on a wideband tune...I think that is what deal was getting at...a custom tune is always worlds better than a canned tune...modded or not.
What's the boost set at? Just wondering...I'm planning on turbo'ing my silver car...so I'm just looking at everyone's setups...
Thanks
A custom tune no doubt would be worlds better. Having a tune tailored to your car is much better. I just don't see a need for it since it's a daily and I don't care what kind of power it makes as long as its peppy. I'm sure Tengis could improve on the ZZP tune. If I choose to go further modding then I will look at having him tune. Right meow I'm happy with it though. I plan on redynoing for the hell of it to see if the ZZP tune is better.
Boost is around 12-13 PSI. Which kit are you considering?
Well...I planned on running no more than 15psi on stock rockers/cam (IC'd of course)...I wanted to see how quick I could make it on pump gas and not breaking into the motor at all...besides changing the top end gaskets and tossing on my L26 UIM/Ported TB.
It seems to really evenly pull the more I watch those videos...I'm impressed for just bolting on and goin' lol
As much flack as the ct kit gets it's not that bad of a kit. Plus it helps you can buy them cheap used. If I had to do it all over again I'd probably still buy a ct kit. The car is very consistent no matter what gear I go with.
What impresses me the most is how much it still pulls when it hits 80mph. That was where it would always fall off when the car was supercharged. Just realize that once you are turbocharged you seriously will never want to go with another supercharged Grand Prix. :th_thumbsup-wink:
Turbo world is whole nother ball game and I'm loving every bit of it. :)
I'd like to bet my blower car is faster than your snail :D
LOL...but then again...it has too much money in it...and after 100-120...you'd probably start the pullin' game.
8.64 at 85.96mph with a 2.16 60ft
Nice, I ran a 8.67 on my XP/Headers with a 3.4...60 foot was 2.05.
Woulda been one helluva 1/8 run back then :D
Yes it would have. :)
Going to hit up a 1/4 mile track, the car was wanting the big end bad. Ran in full street trim. Only thing I did was remove the driver headlight. Didn't even empty out the inside of the car before racing, let alone adjust tire pressure etc. :th_laugh-lol3:
I'll be uploading videos Later today.
My buddy went 8.1 @ 90mph in his Regal(gen v swap).
