Nice to see a well done car.

Simple, plan no tiny pulley no intercooler. Love it

    Ohh BTW what headers?
it's got ebay headers, i have an IC waiting to go on, then the pulley size will drop to around 2.9-3.0ish.

    286whp on a 3.5 pulley....WOW

This thing bleeds boost bad until you hit the right pulley and then its a freight train.

    Intercooler on a Non-Intercooler cam?

Im assuming your using a wideband? at least Id sure hope so! Why not add timing and fuel with bigger injectors and pulley drop before the IC? That way if/when the IC goes on it wouldn't be such a drastic change?

IMO its all about the small changest little by little that make the difference between a car that holds together and a car that turns into a massive money pit and paper weight!

yep, i don't like KR and i DD the car so i'm going to cover all the bases. the goal with this car isn't to be the fastest or highest HP car in town, i just want a 12 second DD that i can enjoy and not have to worry about chipping a piston in.

i like having a safe tune, the way the car sits now it is tuned so safely that when ZZP tuned it, Tim said i could drop to a 3.4 pulley with out a new tune, just scan for KR and keep an eye on it.

pretty much my thought is i'd rather have a 400whp capable setup making 310whp than a 350whp capable setup running 355hp. i DD this car all year long so reliability is very important.

Completly understand however I do wonder the choice in the the NIC in the first place over say a VS, XP, or S1X? Nothing wrong with having more mods than needed. Not trying to say theirs a wrong way to mod a car either, I am curious still tho to see the car on bigger injectors, smaller pulley and what kind of numbers it would make before the IC.

I'd love to see a rpm vs timing vs boost data log!

KR is like the black plague to these motors, i lost one last fall due to it. so i am doing everything i can to prevent having any KR in the future. the NIC cam makes great power numbers, opens the motor up and brings the boost down (mine dropped 5psi!) and it sounds good enough to give a nun wet panties.

if i didn't have to pay for dyno time i would try a smaller pulley before the IC, but the when i drop the car off to get the trans work done it's also getting the IC installed and the smaller pulley put on. then onto the dyno to get it dialed it. it still won't be a crazy tune, i just want the car to be quick enough to get around town in.

yup, it was tuned at ZZP on their Mustang dyno. now you got me wanting to make a pull on a dyno jet just for the printout

due to a speed bump, i got to hear the car open downpipe. sweet mother of god... it is sooooo loud, but sounds mean as fvck. i miss having my E-cutout soo much!!!
