Went to the track tonight. Im not disappointed at all.

    PB: 14.522 @ 94.81 w 60' 2.162

    friends cobalt SS with intake/exhaust : 15.312 @ 92.77 (cant drive)

Girl driving a stock (I assume) GTP: 16's

Before the top swap: ~16.1 @ 86ish. cant remember exactly. worse DA that day though.

    DA corrected: 14.286 @ 96.358 MPH

Not bad for stock pulley and 14-16* timing and high mileage tires.

nice! 3 second drop on the 1/4 is kickass. now the problem is the addiction to making it faster

Yea the mod bug is still biting. Its not as annoying as walking into my room and staring at an M90 under my bed though lol.

    Future plans:

    buy a tuner+wideband
    3.6 MPS pulley
    60# injectors and E85
    3.4ish MPS pulley

    manual from TEP
ZZP 4340 input shaft (still researching some problems with this, and input is appreciated)
    HD Diff and passenger axle
    new gear chain from V8
    hardened 4th

roughly in that order. may try to pick up another trans. ive seen one local for $50 missing 4th, i really should have pursued that.

    intense input shaft?

Not sure on axle lengths... but might the shorter axle aggravate torque steer even more?

My understanding was both diffs were quite prone to damage due to one wheel peels and other than that, were quite strong.

Thus you'd want to go torsen (LOL MONEY!) or be careful.

I meant just get the HD differential from like a GTP tranny, i still have the regular ole' GT diff. This also requires a GTP passenger axle from what ive heard. And zzp claims their input shaft is good for all M90 setups (Ive searched and searched on here and club GP and cant find a thread about them failing, even though i know there is)
If zzp's cheaper one is no good, intense, ZZP's 300m and TEP's are all the same price. Is there a best one?

    TEP uses the intense shaft.

I like you car but I think you can get a lot more out of it with that top swap than you are.

Ok so its been a while since ive been on here, been busy at college. So plans for the spring/summer are this:

find and fix random leak i have, change tranny fluid, re-attach Rear view mirror, get new tires, get some GR-2 struts and DNA springs, EGR delete + a wideband, get some 60lb injectors, get me some E85, and then some pulley drop. Sound good?

what tranny fluid should I use?

Sorry I havent been on here in a while again, I kinda forget about my car since I leave it at home during school. But im bringing it with me next year woot! So i changed my tranny fluid, tuned my car to 89 oct for the winter to save money, and still working on the maf tune. The tune the WBS gave me was literally 10-11 degrees of base timing LOL. Im up to 15* on 89 oct, not sure really because I dont think i cared about WOT on 89 anyway. I think im gonna start over with the 2005 GTP timing tables and transfer over what I had increased once I get the fuel trims dialed in.

First things first, I need new tires when I go home in a week. I bought an L67 TB at a junkyard im going to port for S's & G's. I will also be selling all my L36 parts and a HUD in about 2 weeks so be on the lookout for those.
