    93 D350 CTD 12v - 201,609
    A518 3-speed w/ OD

i picked this bad lad up on 4/20 and rolled 200K on the way home. new fuel filter and a couple injection pump tweaks that week and that is all as of now. running 100+ mile days for work about twice a week and she purrs from start to finish.

    to-do list:
    injectors
    he351cw
    4" straight turbo-back
more pump tweaks (timing, pre-boost fuel)
front end suspension (pretty sure the truck's all original, aside from a rebuilt injection pump and rebuilt A518 tranny)
considering a SRW conversion. the dually is gnarly but i'm not sure how practical it is.
body work is last, but i think i'm gonna go forest green or flat black when i paint.

run that mofo on used cooking oil,(free fuel)it will run on home heating fuel too, its cheaper.(no road tax) and the dually is useless unless you are hauling big loads all day every day or like buying 2 more tires when you need new ones.

and maybe cut the mufflers off and run pipes up through the bed, with the injector pump turned up all that black smoke goes up instead of in the car behind yous face, and straight pipes look cool.

man that thing brings me back to the days of my old 1980 power wagon,(same body) even with just a 318, it had some balls, great plow truck. i had the 4 speed trans with the creeper low gear and when you put the t case in low, its was un stoppable.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

i'm actually considering multiple options for alternative fuels at the moment. i would really like to go the waste motor/trans/gear oils route, but i can't access them freely in the abundance a full-scale operation would require.

i'm hoping to get some tests going soon on which crops produce the oils that burn the most efficiently as well as crop size per plant in hopes to run 100% biodiesel. i hate when people are like, "dude, you're running stuff used to cook food," so i'd like to engineer fuel from seed and get the cleanest results possible.

no stacks for me. it's a work truck. i love the low-end in the CTD though, idles at 20 in second. wish it had a getrag, first is basically useless unless towing or with a ton load.

seeing as it's a work truck, i think i'm going to give it a backyard paint job once i take care of the surface rust on top of the cab. that being said, i'll probably stick with black or another darker color.

Just leave the dual wheels alone. You'll run into more problems converting it to single wheel axle. Bad ass truck though...

my 80 power wagon alway reminded me of something out of a mad max movie, and a brick in the wind. like a box on wheels lol i bet people get the f out of your way too, no one wants to be hit by something that big and old. i dont mean old in a bad way old like as in you can punch the fender and it wont dent!

in the past two weeks i've had at least 5 people tell me it sounds like a big rig. no joke, my boss today was talking about his old powerstroke and he was just like 'man that thing sounds mean, i swear i thought it was a semi pulling in to the barn.'

i already know what is entailed in the D-SRW swap. unless i get what i need from a yard or a part out, it's staying as is. i'd like to swap a 5 speed and a dana 60 in the front end with a new t-case, but that's another costly swap unless i find a 4x4 12 valve 5-speed part out.

happy independence day GPF. go out n bobbacue, i know i am in an hour or two.

got my bedliner installed and painted a bit of my grill. here's some pics.

yes the DS headlight bracket and trim piece are busted, i know. working on that.

this is after the first coat

and the final result until next weekend when i can whop on a fat final coat.

waiting on a bunch of things from a fuel pin (in production) to new headlights and a few trim pieces i need to replace.

also, i'm looking for cheap pickup/suv buckets, with or without console. if you or anyone you know has a cheap set, let me know.

i almost bought a digital camera the other day, but ended up buying an xbox style controller for the ps3 and a 2tb external hard drive. it's next on my list, so vids and better pics are coming.

I'm not disputing those facts. Its completely stock other than a small grind on the fuel pin.

Once I get a pyrometer and 3 inch turbo back im gonna install a machined pin go ape **** on the three screws in the pump.
