So it all started when I first got to Texas, right off the plane from Korea(Im in the military) looking for something to drive around. I was immediatley told not to shop around Fort Hood because they rip off soldiers, so a buddy and I went up to Dallas. And thats where I saw her... 6500 bucks later, there she was. My second pontiac, after totalling my 2006 GTO drunk(havent drove drunk since). Looked under the hood, "Oooo a blower". I had no experience with Grand Prix at all. I thought they were grocery getters tbh.

Then I joined CGP and GPF, trying to gain alittle knowledge about the 3800 series platform and it turned out its not a bad car. I told myself, all Im going to do is stereo, rims(maybe) and tint. The usual when you purchase a car. Named her "Missy"...

And then it began. I came across some money, and it immediatley went into a 3.4, SD Headers and all the supporting mods. I bought an Intense tune, which was a bad idea because it still runs alittle rich for my taste. Looking back I should have got it custom tuned. Now I cant find the time to leave it at the dyno shop. And so, then, did a few more things like painted the calipers and such and some SS Brake Lines.

I could not stand the look of wheel gap with the American Racing Phantoms so then I decided to start investing in some suspension. Got GXP Struts, GMPP front and rear Swaybar/STB, SCC Springs, Poly bushings/motor mounts, new rotors, HAWK Pads, painted the rear valance because I cant stand gray plastic, even threw some inlays and a SE grille on her. And this is how she sits now.

All thats left for the outside is to paint my Inferno Hood I have sitting in my girlfriends living room and get an SE Front Air Dam. Just sharing my car

Looks pretty good, maybe a little iffy on the rims. Probably wouldn't be my pick, but they don't look too bad.
But yeah, thats how it goes. You think you're only going to do a couple things, and then you keep doing more and more.

    i would rather have a gold 04+ than 97-03.
That looks pretty nice. good stuff. Those rims are a good pick like that style would look best with Gold.
    Or black rims.

Got a good deal on them and when I bought them, I didnt have the car side by side to do a comparison. If i were to go back I would get some multispoke wheels but these will have to do until after Iraq.
