No I didn't forget a zero in the price but theres a reason it was so cheap... I wanted to started a thread so I can show the progress I make on it is all and maybe brag about the steal of a deal...lol

    Parts list needed for sure:
    Hood: $100-300 depending on condition
Trunk lid minus spoiler: $150-300 depending on condition
Front windshield: $75-100 not installed price
Rear windshield: $75-150 depending on option and not installed
Moonroof glass: Bout $25 from pullapart... Apparently the 97-03 glass is the same according to the part locator.
Tail lights: Bout 150ish for a pair of new led tails from ebay
Paint: $400 is what the guy told me he found. It's a damn tricoat paint meaning you put your base, then a tintcoat, then clear = FUN!!!
Bout 20 gallons of bondo: Priceless

If anyone can beat any of them prices let me know... And the reason the interior is out of the car is cause they stole the hood of this thing at the bodyshop it was at so he took all the seats and center consol out so they wouldn't steal it or mess it up too is what he said. Its got the leather with suede seats and all the other fancy options associated with the GXP's. If you all have any tips or info on the bodywork or where to buy parts or anything really I would appreciate it since this is my first 04+ gp.

    Here's the carnage:

I gots both the fenders in the car, one has like 2 decent dents the other has 1 bigger dent. Think he was parked between two cars when the storm hit cause the sides below window level didn't get hardly any damage. And yeah with the interior being appart and all I am sure to have to track down some odds and ends... Front bumper and missing side skirt are also in the car.

Side note: This guy mentioned an aluminum hood??? sounds crazy to me and the part locator didn't have any options at all as in its the same for a base as this GXP. Anyone know what he was talking about or is he nuts?

    Ahh ok.

Btw.. My GT I had before my gtp had some hail damage(not nearly that bad), but it was the same way, there wasn't a speck of damage below the windows. I assume just due to the hail coming straight down.

I got hit by that same hailstorm at my house, it destroyed 5 of my 7 cars(me and my wife hoped in ours and bolted) but anyways I got like a 3-4 foot overhang on my roof and I'll be damned if it didn't knock out every window in the front of my house and take out the 2" plantation blinds behind them too. It also put holes through, yes through my 6 month old roof/decking... I'll post some pics of that carnage some other time but the hail here in OKC don't play to say the least.

I like a challenge...lol I couldn't resist when I looked up the private party bluebook and it was over 16K. Plus it has a clean and clear title... so if I repair it well enough theres no reason I couldn't easily sell it for 12-13k

For that price I could sell the motor trans and a few other parts, keep the seats and the alcoa's for my car and break even at least if I change my mind on rebuilding her.

the '22"' on the back there suggests it had very large wheels before it was wrecked....

    trans is probably worthless.

I asked him how long he ran them and what size tire... Wasn't a whole lot bigger than stock and he ran them less than 10k and with the low miles I doubt theres any damage. Fluid looked and smelled perfect too...

I was gonna call morad and see if he would make me a deal on my grocery list... His prices are getting kinda high though and then add shipping, small stuff that I'm sure I will find I need I will deff go to him.

Nice find I wouldnt mind fixing up a GXP for that price either! Body and paint works easy IMO just take time.

^^^ Sortafit lolz they mostly do only headlights taillights and mirrors now from their MN location becasue their rep went to SH1T we used to buy parts from them all the time too.

Go to my photobucket here: Hail DAMAGE pictures by kejross - Photobucket I uploaded all my pics of the hail and the damage to my cars at the time. I had so many cause I buy a lot of cars that need motors for dirt cheap, put motors in and resell after I drive them a bit to make sure its all good.

Not off to a good start... I went to pullapart today for the driver side dual climate control actuater for my 98 and the car I was pulling it from happen to have the moonroof unbolted and sitting in its spot and glass was on sale this weekend $15 for any piece of glass so I grabbed it too. Well not only did I get the wrong actuater(3wire instead of 5wire) The ****ing glass was the wrong one... must have came out of a regal, cause I glanced at one earlier and it was the wrong bolt pattern. Thanks to the asshole who put the regal moonroof in place of the GP one! And of course with any pullapart theres no returns... Gonna take it with me next time I go shooting lol
