very nice very nice...ive been wondering if my ram air box lets enough air in and might go to a fenderwell intake but idk if there would be any difference

I am going to seal the opening into the fender of mine with foam weather strip which will be similar to a fenderwell intake with the advantage of having the Ram Air should be the best available option for a true cold air intake.

thats kind of what i was thinking of doing...i was gonna see if the opening of the air box was big enough to put a hose to run down further into the fender so i can suck up the air from down there and still use the ram air

I got the idea from Geddy Lee he did it to his GTX. I still havnt been able to enjoy the benefits of my new motor the flex plate is bad and I have a bunch of exhaust leaks still. was supposed to get it fixed this weekend but my cousin who was helping me with the swap that screwed up the flex plate wasnt feeling good this weekend so hopefully we will get it finished up sometime this week!

Love it! agree with lowering and it will be just about perfect. Where did you get the vents for the SD hood? I cant seem to kind them

They were masked off and custom painted on the sd hood they are made into the hood.

As for the "ram air"...I'd like to see the hoods in a wind tunnel, to see how much they actually move...

Only reason Im slightly doubtful in the effectiveness is, with the M90 sucking in so damn much air, I think it might be being choked.

I've got a 9" cone filter on mine, and if you put your hand on it, and tap the throttle, it will suck your hand hard against it.

Either way, its a sexy damn car.

I will agree to a certain extent the K&N on the ram air box is a little small for my tast but it is sealed with the coolest air available going into the engine and these things love cold air so I would think it would be the best intake system available. The other thing I noticed with the hood is the engine runs about ten degrees cooler than the 180 t stat so that leads me to believe the extractors are doing a good job keeping the engine bay cooler and the ceramic coated TOG headers seem to help as well. When I redo the front header this week I am going to wrap the cross pipe with header wrap to try to keep even more heat away from the Throttle body and intake area. I want to lower the car again so bad but I have to waite for the extra 500 bucks needed for the agx struts. I had the b&g springs on it and it looked sexy but the ride was horrible because the stock struts are smoked. From the feedback I have been getting it would be a waste of money to buy gr2's.

Make sure to properly seal the exhaust wrap too, or it'll eat up the crossover.

Theres a toss up between getting the coldest air possible, and getting the most air possible....

My thoughts are.....
Even if you are pulling in colder air, the supercharger is still going to beat heating it up immensely.

Heat extractors are awesome-o too.

IMO, gut the airbox, and throw a big ass cone filter in there, but keep the ram air and the fender intake dealio going.

Got it done yesterday with the exception of an exhaust leak because of a bad donut and a bad bbv sulenoid. I unhooked the sulenoid and she screams! I also added the dual tips and I have the last gtx emblem headrest logos and new gtx mats to complete it. I am waiting for the fund to build back up to buy the agx's to lower it back down with the B&G's an the GTX wheels should be done in a couple weeks. I will get more pics up when I get it lowered and get the GTX wheels on it.

It's turning out great man. Cant wait to see it with the GTX rims...
