7.3 pound baby boy!!
He had some liquid in his lungs so they are clearing that out its not a huge deal just making sure everything is good.
Not sure if the name yet lol gotta get on that.
Oh and my wife did the whole labor without any drugs! She handles pain like no other.
congrats
She is doing great, she says it wasn't as hard as she thought it was going to be lol.
It all happened pretty fast. I was surprised how well she did for not having any drugs it was pretty awesome.
So James is doing good. Likes to stay up all night and be grumpy but I hear that passes after a week or 3 lol
On the car got the oil changed, transmission fluid and filter changed and 195 thermostat installed today hopefully can meet up with overkill tomorrow to change the fan settings to match the thermostat.
Most of the time that does it.
Did you get the solid rubber optioned one? Hopefully you did...or it'll be tearing again soon like they all do.
i got it front rockauto, said it was solid... but we will find out.
Bad news is I changed the trans fluid and filter hoping the filter was clogged and making my car slip and bang into 1st from a stop. Well that wasnt the issue and it bangs into 1st gear alot more now....
stupid ******* 4t65e

worn out inner surface of the input clutch piston.
but it also slow shifts once in awhile and I already have the overkill tune so just a matter of time before its toast
Im gonna drive it till its dead. hopefully last another year or so then gonna try and get a 2012 impala with the 3.6l 300hp and 6 speed auto.
Meet up with Overkill? He come back from B.C.?
Pete, you should've added a bottle or two of Lucas with that trans filter/fluid swap. It's a friction modifier and should help with the slip for now. Trans cooler would also help with that...changing you're tstat right now may not be such a good idea seeing you want to keep the tranny fluid thats running through that rad cooler.
Thats a soild car you've got, I would swap in a new trans in the spring and beat it some more!
Same exact story on our impala. Bill and I have been saying this for a while, and we keep seeing it more and more, impalas seem to wear out input clutch pistons far faster than any other 4t65e car. Our impala last year had a couple slips into 1st. And very recently started slow shifting. Did the fluid and shift kit, solved the slow shifting but the slip into first is happening more with thinner fluid. Lucas should make it last a while longer, less leakdown on the seal. And its at 116k. Figuring that's the only issue, it should go a ways further with a half bottle of lucas. One day when it won't go into first without dropping it down to the 1 selection, we'll get it rebuilt.
