ok guys for real, stop fvcking bashing the kid, if you dont have anything to say or contribute to the kids thread, stay the fvck out of it. Let him do what he wants to his own car.

This is so fvcking childish of all of you. Grow up and leave him alone.

I love the SLP grille on the montes. The way the hood stripe is shaped is wierd, but it could be okay. And a locking gas cap is good for more than just not losing gas, it prevents people from putting anything into it.

the stripe shown on that page isnt the normal SS stripe...it is the flamed type, i probably wont get it, just the straight SS stripes...i love the slp grilles too...i am thinking hard about getting it...and gas cap is for sure

    Modification List-
Needed mods These aren't really mods at all, just maintnance items
    Leaking Aluminum Wheels
At the moment my aluminum wheels leak aprox. 5-15 psi per week, getting this fixed is pretty crucial to maintaining the life of my tires
Get this done ASAP, blowing a tire will give you a lot more problems then the small cost it would be to have your tires resealed
    New Rotors
I am pretty sure that my rotors (idk which ones) are warped because when i am going about 60 and i slow down rather fast, i feel how warped rotors feel, i am just wondering if they are warped enough to have to get them replaced, or if it is dangerous to continue going with them.
Are you serious? A warped rotor is a WARPED ROTOR and should be replaced no matter "how warped" it is.
    Oil change (lol)
It's been about 2500-3000 miles since my last oil change, i think i should get this done soon You obviously aren't running syntetic, make the switch. It costs more but it's worth it.

    Locking gas caps
In my school/town/where i live some people find it pretty funny to steal other peoples gas, with raising gas prices, im thinking they might not only do it because its funny anymore, so this is insurance on my gas pretty much.
People generally do these things in retaliation of others actions. Don't mess with people in traffic (Reference douche on a bike or whatever that stupid thread you made was) mind your own business and people will most likely leave you alone.
    Auxiliary Adapter
This adapter is really cool...plugs into the CD changer in my stock GM radio and turns it into two auxiliary ports. rather cool...and it will enable me to use the $50 cable i got from a friend for free.
Save that $50 and get an aftermarket head unit so you can improve sound quality at the same time. You can get a good head unit for $200 with Aux ins and outs
    Tinting-
5% on the Rear Window and two rear side windows, and 30% on the passenger and drivers side...idk what i would be able to do on the windshield, maybe 30% also if it was semi legal...i am pretty sure it is legal to have 35% on fronts and anything you want on the backs
Don't do 5%. You won't be able to see at night and its costly to remove. Go to a shop and get 25% as the lowest all the way around.

    Wanted mods
    Debadging
I just think it would look a lot cleaner without the SS red symbols and the dealer sticker on the rear...i am wondering if i should take off the red chevy bow tie on the back also.If it was S/C I would leave these, but since its not, yank em off and give the car a clean shaved look.

    Black SS Racing Stripes
I am begging for the cops to pull me over with these, plus they add 30HP guaranteed. not a bad stripe kit, but vynal that size is no fun to put on. Have a vinyl shop do the install

    White Interior Detailing
I am thinking i would paint the easy to take out part of the dash white, and maybe use a touch up marker on some things on the steering wheel. might make my stock car look a little more awesome. Don't do this, it will look ricey. I've seen GP's with things inside painted body color and facepalm every time.

    SS Skirt Kit
If i ever do get this, i will for sure not be living in Iowa anymore, the front air dam would get ripped off by snow by the first storm... Assuming you're talking about the OEM kit, go for it. Aftermarket, probably not.

    Lambo Door Kit
These would really make me happy, probably not in the near future will i even think about getting them, just didnt want to forget about the posibility
I know this wasn't a joke, but DON'T DO IT
    SLP Grille
this grille would really look awesome i think, and i could take off the red chevy bowtie, or paint it white...and this would get rid of the ugly monte emblem on the front, i hate that thing.
These actually do look good, see if you can find a white overlay for the bowtie on the grill so you can match your car color.
    LED Light Conversion
Possibly one of the first few mods my car will receive, i am thinking about just buying plug and play so far, i dont want to do a full dash lighting redo...just the courtesy/dome/map/trunk lights...maybe the license plate lights
Eh, I'm not huge into lights, but if you do all that work, congrats.
    3rd Tail Light Cover
basically you just tell them what you want written, and they send you it and you stick it on...idk if i really want to get this...looks like it is crappy

There's my take on your plans, happy now? Like I already mentioned, go on the monte forums for better ideas of what will look good on your car. I know you're banned, just look around and learn. I'm sure some of those guys have done some innovative things lime make roof rails fit.

    thank you

as for the retailiation part...yes, that is very true...but also people in my town are so stupid and drunk and high they see a nice car when 85% of all the cars in my town are crap...and they can add 2 + 2...nice car=money to buy a lot of gas...easy to steal with no gas cap...although im usually not above 3/4 full...

for the racing stripes, yes, a shop is installing them...i would never be able to get them straight...lol

as for sound quality, i think my bose speakers will do lol...i just need that aux adapter to plug my ipod in and throw away all these stupid CDs!

if i do tint i will prob do 20 on the backs...and 35 on the fronts, prob cant do anything to the windshield i guess

and honestly...i was never really going to spend $1000 on lambo doors...i would facepalm myself...and if i do some interior detailing, ill prob just make the effects on the steering wheel white...makes them pop out, doesnt look horrible

the slp grille is a def...i want it so bad lol, and i will get a white overlay with it

and finally...as for LED lights...i would just buy plug n play interior lights...unplug OEM, plug in LEDs...not very hard, just a little nerve racking not wanting to break one and get it all over my car

again, thank you E_S, i appreciate it

I have heard that GM had some wheels for a few years that as they got old they leaked air not at the bead but through the rim itself. My wife's 01 ga gt does it even after new tires and i watched them clean the beads up.
    98 GTP modded 1.9's, sd headers, 3.4", zzp 1.0 230K miles scrapped.
04 Comp G zzp stb's, UMI ta's, Speedbuilt sways, bully flo heads, XP, zzp headers, fsic, thrasher shift kit, 60#, 2.6" corsa 2.5", Inferno hood

when they clean the beats they can pit the wheel if they're not careful and that can cause leaking.

    Nitrogen helps.

moar pics of the carrrrrrr, and i am guessing that you have zero performance plans for this car? your "mod" list seems to be mainly visual in nature, and yet you have not included any plans for wheels/lowering/stanceishness. i'm jw why dood

i think there is a manufacturing problem with the wheels...but i learned that it was somewhat with the beads as well as with the rim itself...but this guy did the same job on my dads 2003 Lincoln aluminum wheels and now they work perfect with no leaks...so im gonna trust him to do mine for about $30 per wheel...

as for other mods, yes they are pretty much visual for now...i might get some new wheels...the darker aluminum ones that the limited edition dale jrs have...as for lowering...max 1 inch, i live in iowa and it snows...and hard packed snow can tear bumpers off...its probably not even smart to get it lowered 1 inch...maybe ill do it when i move out of iowa.

Honestly I think you need to do this:

That is the first thing I would do after you fix the issues you are having. You will be happy you did it. I was!
