You need to rethink your audio equipment choices. Mostly by not getting only things you can get locally. But even more mostly by researching about what everything means so you know what will work with what.
I know confusing, i have just always forgotten to delete those sucky subs and amp from my list...they are probably never gonna happen, im content with my 4 bose speakers
just got some questions about HIDs
HIDs
i will be getting 2 sets of these in 8000k...fog lights and low beams...i am not for sure if the 8000k will melt the fog light housing or not...if it would, how could i protect against that? also, what do i do for high beams?
if you get 6 or 8k hids you really dont need high beams. and put 35w kit in the fogs and you should be fine.
DDM tuning is a good place to get cheap kits
thanks for the info :)
what i really kinda want is 8000k HIDs cuz they are kinda blue, but id like the fogs to match lol...
and what your saying...you dont need to use high beams? like...ever? that would be awesome
get the 6k you will be happier, then 8k in the fogs.
if you want high and low beams you need to get a bixenon kit.
honestly the hids were so much better then the stocks i didnt care that i lost high beams
but i wants blue lmao...
whatever i do im gonna do it uniform, because i cant stand un-uniform things lol...
are the 35w better? like, so it wont melt the housings?
if everything checks out im gonna go with two sets of 35w 8000k's one size 9005 and one 880 (i checked the bulb sizes with many sites)
i put in 8k in my lows and 10ks in my fogs,, my lows are 55w's and my fogs 35w's , i lost my high beams but idc i dont need them now, and i like the uniform lights to and with my car being white i figured the 8k's would better then the 6's
i have 6k in for headlights, and yellow 880 bulbs. i feel JDM :)
lmao...sorry i just like it to be uniform...just the way i am lol...also, i need a thread on how to disable drls...i cant find it anywhere
probably going with these interior size 194 black lights
http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/LED-Blacklight
gonna need 8 of them
2 courtesy lights
2 map lights
1 license plate light
1 ash try light
1 glove box light
1 dome light (festoon)
i just need to find out what size of festoon light bulb i need...idk how i would measure lol...is "mm" millimeters? if so i could measure it lol
also...i am pretty sure that you cant get clear corners for montes...amirite? i have never seen anything about it
try and make clear corners?
^^^^^ that is the thinking i like dude, never thought of it...ill take one of my lights apart sometime and check it out
thanks :D
Just to clear up some confusion, the color of the HIDs do not determine the heat output. This is a massive common misconception. That's what the difference in 35w, 50w, & 55w is. More power, more heat, less power, less heat. Stick with 35w and you can pick whatever color you want.
I figured that... Thanks for clearing it up
