Sounds like the pump to me... But really shat do I know.

Nothing.
Pull the side cover, fix the known issue...at least limp it a bit further and while you are in there replacing the shaft, do a filter too. Likely the shaft blew it's load into your pan.
That sounds dirty, Bill.
And you all make valid points, but I don't think I wanna tear into the trans and replace it myself (well, with Josh. it's just not something we want to do or really have the time for).
Highway driving at 60mph is 21mpg. 80mph took me to like 3500 rpm sooooo god knows what that will average.
I drove 9 months on a broken 4th hub, you'll be fine until you can afford to have someone do the work if you won't. Andrew does great work with transmissions and wont' charge you an arm and a leg.
Already ahead of ya there guy He's been contacted lol.
Fix your face.
Brandon fix it yourself. Save a ton of money and get some trans knowledge.
I'm 99% sure Josh and I could figure it out even though it's out of our comfort zone. We make a helluva team. But I have too much riding on my only car for us two noobs to be tearing into it with a weekend deadline.
Have you done it, Dan? If so, come up here, we do it under your guidance. I'd feel so much better doing it under someone who's done it before.
I've not done it but I do love bill's write ups. You could drive josh's truck right? lol
and spend $20 a day in motor oil lmao
A day?
****.
It's like a quart every mile.
Well, I guess you could buy the cheap ****.
i'd kill myself in that thing come winter. the brakes are crap, there are no rear brakes, the suspension needs help. oh and it occasionally needs to be push started.
JUST imagine tiny Brandon tryin to push that thing.
As much as I know about these cars and do my own work, I leave trans work to Andrew . Not fun.
Surely you make more then $20 a day to pay for oil in his truck if it came down to that. Versus taking off work because your cars down. My advice if money is a issue is do it yourself in a weekend w/ Josh's help.
It's not THAT bad.
Pulling a transmission is worse than a 4th shaft swap I'd say.
