It's actually the piston ringlands that the newer cars have trouble with. In 07 they had to change the tune to meet new emissions standards and a lot of cars experience a lean condition under high boost, and people have been blowing ringlands left and right since. All of the 07+ cars (and even some 06's) have the potential for this to happen.






However, that's not the case.

















It's not my car, it's a friend's. He dropped it off for me to detail over the next week or so. I decided to troll some of my friends so I figured I might as well post here too :P

At the end of the day, the joke's on me because this is an awesome car. The interior is leaps and bounds ahead of mine, and I absolutely love WRB on gold BBS wheels. I stalled it in my driveway 3 times trying to move it into the garage because it has a stage 2 clutch and a lightweight flywheel, feels nothing like my car at all.
