not the short shifting one?

you have a good transmission, just side step the clutch and let it fly. you just have to be giving it enough throttle to not bog it down when you dump it.
the guy at work that i took that one picture of for you drifts his all the time. since you have more done than him i know for sure your car can handle a massive launch. try a few on the street and then take it down and run an 11.xx pass.
Blizzak LM-60's mounted on the stock BBS's , come at me snow.
Winter prep stage 1 has begun. I did a heavy coat of Collinite's 845 insulator wax over the multiple coats of Zaino that were already on the car. Probably do one more coat of wax before the snow comes. Lip is coming off soon, going to touch up the wheel wells and underbody with por15/undercoating.
Feal revalves still on the garage floor, RCE yellows, group-N tophats, swaybars, ALK and other suspension stuff can wait until spring. Big TMIC and bigger turbo coming soon after that. Might as well, right?
I actually laughed out loud a little bit
I've actually been saving a lot lately, the Blizzaks are the first big purchase I've made in a long time and probably will make all winter. It's strange, the more I save, the less I want to spend. Bass-ackwards way of doing things I guess.
Love the wheels, love the car, HATE that spoiler. Just my opinion
You're not the first one to say that. It serves a purpose though. It's like a badge of honor for the STi in my opinion. It's big and obnoxious and it deserves to be. The fact that it is actually functional is just a bonus. I didn't buy my STi so that I could make it clean or subtle![]()
:madjelly:
I was gonna get snows for the Saab...but the tires I got supposedly pretty good. We will see how it goes, they did pretty in that 4-6" of snow a few weeks ago.
So I take it you haven't found another car to daily?
I did a heavy waxing for the saab to, its pretty much ready for the snow now.
No DD, sadly. I looked at a few cars, MKIII Golf, MKIV Jetta TDI, there was 98 Legacy GT I almost bought. I couldn't bring myself to spend the money though. I'll either buy a decent DD next year or buy another bike. I miss my R6
I figure the snows are gonna be pretty awesome though. I had 2 matching tires all season tires on the SS and 2 other a/s tires that didn't match each other or the ones on the front, and 2 matching pairs of a/s tires on the GTP. AWD and Blizzaks is going to be a big step up.
I can't put enough wax on this thing. I really don't want to drive it in the salt but as long as I take the right steps to prevent corrosion I should be in good shape.
Stock BBS's are plasti dipped. Starting to wish i would have done blue or something but they're just winter wheels now so I'll deal with it.
