basically because a bigger turbo. if you look at the stock STI power each year they go up each year a little bit...because of a slightly bigger turbo.

Thats an easy fix, and I would still rather have the sedan version. Not a big fan of the new hatchback ones.

Yep, it's entirely functional. People claim to have seen a gain of 1-2 MPG's switching from the STi spoiler to the WRX spoiler/wingless, but I'll pick up my MPG's from an exhaust and tune.

I love the 06-07 front end, if I had mad money I'd be rocking a 2007 STI, either in World Rally Blue or a 2007 STI Limited in Satin White Pearl.

I don't think the hatches look bad, but I like the sedans more. The new 2011 STI is growing on me as well, but I don't have $40K to drop on a car.

I was looking at Subaru's when I bought the GTP. Couldn't find one in my price range though. . . Great cars, and honestly, an STi would be a BA DD!

they really are an expensive platform. even my base nothing no option car was a fairly high introductory price. aftermarket parts are ridiculously priced as well.

Yes, they're expensive to buy, but they hold their value better than any other manufacturer according to what I've been reading. It makes sense because I don't see any other 2005 sport compact sedans with 60K miles that book for 20K

    I know

The last Subaru commercial I saw made the claim that Subaru is the #1 automobile manufacturer for vehicle value retention.
