You going to superfly tomorrow? If I can find the STi under all the dust it's collected I'm bringing it out. If not I'm rocking the bleen bomber.

So I'm looking at new wheels and I have 3 options right now:

17x8" +45 - Most cost effective, no fitment issues.

17x8.5" +40 - More expensive, should still fit without fender modifications

17x9 +48 - More expensive, will probably need to get fender work done (DO NOT want to take this route but they may fit without any work some I'm considering it). Also not the wheel I want, the wheel I want won't fit in 17x9 without spacers, and I don't want to run spacers.

    What would you do?

My paint peeled on the pontiac, but I repaired it, you would never even know it happened. I also used a heavy duty sheet metal tape to help keep it fixed too.

Here's the first video in a series from the First Annual Fall Performance Run that I organized in October. Unfortunately I was at the front so the other cars aren't in the footage, but I'm going to get footage from some of the other cars and post that as well. The videos that will follow should have better roads in them as well, this one starts out slow. I'll be posting more as I get them edited and uploaded.

    Part 2:
    2005 STi on S.R. 555 Part 2 - YouTube

The way I had to GoPro mounted takes away from how sharp a lot of those turns really are. I know it's not super exciting because I'm not in a GTR going 120 around hairpin turns but I live in Ohio, we don't have much for nice roads, haha.

I was driving it pretty hard actually, well at least keeping a load on the engine. Don't think I got out of 4th gear much. The car was pushing coolant out of the overflow bottle I was driving it so hard haha.

dick! haha. We were sticking together in the group, so as lead car I had to keep watching my mirrors to make sure everyone was still there. Plus with that many high profile rice burners in a group we'd attract police attention pretty quickly if we started having real fun.

Should have had a second facing backwards so you could see the others behind you.

Well the STi has sat all winter except maybe about 70 miles on driving one nice day. I'm antsy to take it out but at the same time I've gone this long and not gotten it salty, so why do it now?

Here's my newest dilemma - I can't decide if I want to leave the car as it is and freak over the black paint constantly, or if I should wrap it. I've been thinking about a full body wrap in matte white with a matte black roof and black wheels. Stormtrooper-esque.

Anyone have any experience with wrapped cars and removing the wrap a few years down the road?
