Ooo ok nice, looks stock
yup yup, that was him. He told me he raced a crazy fast gp. I asked what it looked like, he said red with white stripes, I was like uhhh  haha
So here's all the stuff I've done over the winter. I've been preparing for the 2011 race season, and Hopefully I can pull a mid- low 12 on a 2.8 pulley with pump gas and a low 12-high 11 on e85. READY TO MASH OUT!
65 # injectors for e85 this summer
Racetronix fuel pump with HD rewwire from PRJ performance
Intense full size inter-cooler (Thanks to glanzergtx)
Ryan C. Tune
GMPP Rear sway bar
Ls1 Throttle Body ( Thanks to NineD9GT)
85mm MAF
Ported & Machined Lower intake Manifold
Black 18 inch Rims/ 245,40,18 tires
...Probably more stuff I'm forgetting
Full performance mods list is everything mentioned plus:
VS cam, 90#Valve springs, XS headers, exhaust, TEP Trans, Alternator rewire, Ported gen 3 blower, Solid Motor mounts, Big cone intake, 3.3/3.1/2.8 modular pullies
my friend with a 2.6 pulley ran a 12.1 and ran low 12's most of the time and he is tweaking and tuning nonstop, saying that i think you will probably run middle to high twelves.
still a nice build tho
...Why you say dis to me.
It should actually be pretty easy on slicks and e85. If a 4 size pulley drop, intercooler, great tune, e85, ls1tb, and slicks as compared to bald all-seasons can't net me at least 1 second then I'm modding the wrong vehicle. I was a 13.2 on a 3.3 pulley without all the crap I just mentioned
Thanks. I guess we will have to see. what kind of tires did your friend run?
Car looks great, usually not a big fan of stripes on these, but it actually doesn't look bad this way. However, I think you should blacken the bottom/mid section of the bumper because it all being red looks funny to me since the back bumper is still the dark grey.... just my 2 pennies
Also notice the picture.... your convo on tires and racing got me to notice... are your fronts running rotation backwards? usually that design would run the other direction, after all in the rain the way it is now would pull water to the middle of the tire and cause hydro-planing, not push it out away from the tire to keep traction.... correct me if im wrong tho, just curious
