    I'm still confused why you brought up FWD to begin with
    The video was of a RWD Camaro with an xp cam. Had nothing to do with FWD

    Got some new exhaust bolts today too. I'll keep you guys updated to wether or not the motor actually gets put in this weekend...were starting on it for sure.

    1st motor=big effin hole and various cracks throught..no biggie...will post more pics later
    2nd motor=cracked by the motor mount when i got it but didn't know cuz it's hidden....i found out when i tried putting the oil pan off the old motor on the new one cuz it was dented up and one of the bolts wouldnt tighten down FML....I need another motor....i guess ill part this one out....idk

    My milkshake brings all the...well i dont have a milkshake...





    "Connecting rod"



    This hole is in the middle cylinder driver side (I forget which number) but the crack goes almost all the way up to the front as seen in this pic. You can see the hole on the very right side



    This pic is crappy...but it shows the crack going to the back of the block...hole is on the very left this time.



    Random cracks...




    Pistons and the connecting rod again. If you look at the very right piston and then go down theres a broken bolt also.



    This would be a "bearing"



    My pistons worship me.

    And the "good" replacement motor...or so we thought until i couldnt tighten down an oil pan bolt and come to find out the block was cracked...then we popped a chunk out of it...blurry pic sorry guys....i dont know what the deal was with my camera...musta had it on the wrong setting or something.

    awesome thread. this thing will fly. shouldnt have a prob gettin a 1.5 60'... the xp cam works AWESOME as a turbo cam. buddy of mine ran one in his regal with a stattama T67 Setup and dyno'd over 500 fwhp and tq. ran 11's with a 1.85 60'.
    96 z/28 headers, cam, 3.73's, n2o, etc. - cant wait to bring her outta storage.
