they had leftover stock when i was ordering, so my 18x8.5 set was around $630 shipped.

also, that straight 5 spoke look is made by every company ever right now and it's so stale. those wheels have no character and for whatever reason people seem to eat them up.

I'd like to venture to something less common on these. At one time I really wanted Bremmer Kraft BR05's. The have a replacement BR09 that's about the same. ASA also makes the GT5 which is about the same. And American muscle makes one that's about the same. What's your take on those?

    These are the BR09's

uploadfromtaptalk1452826226804.jpgthose are gorgeous wheels. What you planning on wrapping them with? Im getting the ar904 satin and prob going to stick with pzeros, excellent tire for the money. For me anyways. I've had 20"s on it for a couple years. Immense grip like hurt you with the seatbelt, but too big, heavy and tired of the polishing. [/IMG]

Here's a thread with GT5's. I think I'd rather go ASA over BK since ASA's are made BBK.

Just can't make my mind up about what to wrap mine with. All the diff vendors, choices THEY provide? Seldom am I as decisive as this has made me currently. Specially how upset the Wifey was lwhen she saw the account after the wheels were deducted but,,, Asking for forgiveness is STILL easier

I'm undecided on what I want too. I'm willing to spend good money on nice tires. It's gonna be a summer only toy so anything all season or a touring tire or anything of that nature is out of the question.

I want a summer only performance tire. I'm a fan of Bridgestone and Michelin. But I'd be open to others. I'd be willing to spend probably 800 bucks or so on a set.

Then probably have a pair of QTP's for the stock 16's for the front.

$800 is still a middle of the road tire, to be honest.

and why do you want a summer tire? what's wrong with a max performance all season? i would venture to guess that you'd lean towards the tires ability to last longer than to provide absolute traction since they'd not be the wheels you'd be running at the track anyway. just my thoughts because i'm doing the same thing (minus the track wheels/tires).

I'd prefer traction over life to an extent. The car won't get driven much. A 10-15K mile tire will probably last 2 years I'd bet. I'd still be willing to spend more. $1000 isn't much more when you're already $800 in.

Im not doing track wheels/tires other than the ET streets, QTP's or something like that for the front.

Local guy has these Bridgestone RE-11's on his Boss and they stick absolutely great. From what I've read guys get 15-20K out of them.

I use continental extreme contact dws 19s on the acura, I couldn't be happier with handling and how well they do in snow and rain. I've got almost 30k on them and they look new. They have a 6yr 50k treadlife warranty

GT500 cross lace replicas or whatever the fvck they are called are under 100 each on Americanmuscle.com they are about 26# each someone just ordered some on TCG.com IIRC like $84 dollars each. Not bad for the money.

less than 400 for wheels over 800 for tires sounds about right for a wbody sh1t can LOLOLOLOLOLOL
