new brake lines came in today..
ENGINE WILL BE OUT OF THE MACHINE SHOP TOMORROW AFTERNOON!

Current Status: Brake HARDLINES came in the mail last week... have been sitting in the back of my malibu.
Engine is still at the Machine shop, they said they needed alittle more time i should be picking it up tomorrow afternoon or tuesday latest.
and to top it all of my ****ing Malibu broke down on me the other day... Started overheating (had enough time to pull over just as it hit the Red..
Coolant is leaking out of somewhere near the rear exhaust manifold i suspect Lower intake manifold gasket... or prehaps heater core hoses?
waiting till morning to go and try and fix that first..
3.1 malibu? Lim gaskets for sure.
LIM is prolly the culprit. Best bet is to put an L67 in there. XD
And the day you do actually get the Engine back, I want bajillions of pictures.
Anything else special planned for the build?
fill it with water and if you can't tell with it running where its coming from squeeze the upper rad hose and you should be able to see it.
No i'm saying just squeeze the hoses to put a little pressure on the cooling system to see if you can see where its leaking.

My friend is out of town with the keys to my shop has been for the past week.
Machine Shop wants me to come in on monday and check the progress but said it wouldnt be ready.. i honestly have no ****ing idea why they are taking so long.
breaks havent been started back on since the last update.
Machine shops are never on schedule, my dads small block for the Chevelle was at the shop for a couple of months before he got it back.
yeah but they have had it for 2 months...
they shouldn't of waited on the crankshaft for a month and a half to start the rest

I lost access to that sweet shop i was borrowing (Buddys boss said i can't use it right now because he has something going on)
my Malibu blew a headgasket last saturday...
Started the teardown tonight

Got down to the LIM, going to pull the heads off and put new head gaskets in, new LIM, and Front and rear Valve cover.. also Injector o rings.
****ing 3.1's are a ***** to tear down...
I did the plugs and intake gaskets on my sisters GA, never again, I hate that engine bay lol
