Can't wait to see it go Clint!
dayumm looks alot better than when i last saw...
looks good guys
Vids please. and love the paint. suits the car
its interesting to see you guys still pushing the meth train along. i may try it out again when the time comes. it was kind of fun.
Never done it.. I'm not a fan of having a system on board that can run out.
i can agree with that, but the meth is actually stupid cheap and you dont go through it that fast at all. a half gallon lasted me a month and a half easy.
I'd probably do it if I had my own tuner. A local VP dealer used to sell a 90% meth/alcohol blend for $2.70 a gallon. I think he'd cut a bigger deal if you bought 5+ gallons at a time.
Anxious to see results of this build.
I actually do too, the paint came out waaay better than we thought it would. We thought it was going to be way too much until we started to trim it in black, and then it just kind of fit together. You can't see it, but even the freeze plugs are black. I'm really surprised at how good everything came out in the end.
It gets it's first test drive tonight when I get off work, and then it's a few tweaks here and there to finish it up, and then Clint takes re-delivery of it after that.
Video of it running. All I got so far.

Another vid. Idle in my driveway and a few revs. Disregard the squealing. Need a new belt or pulley.

Don't worry I'm going lower, I don't have any issues now on my ssc setup but I want a little tire tuck. Here's my shop of what it'll be

do wish it had a bit more sidewall, but looks good nontheless! i always wondered how these would look. you pulled it off bro :)
If you go as low as your chop then those are tits
If you wanted to stay at your current height, 255's would be ideal.
Yea I really wanted a 45 or 50 sidewall to stay around factory specs but it wasn't happening. Tire shopping for 19s is horrid and the Hankooks i couldn't pass up. I get a discount for them since I work at walmart and I think I made out ok on them. They are a great tire so far.
At Matt, yea, I could have went with 245s or 255s but the price differences in tires were retarded. I paid 170 a piece for the Hankooks when a 245 or 255 similarly compared say Goodyear eagle gt runs like 350 dollars a tire. I couldn't justify it. Plus the 225 added a teeny bit of stretch that I like. But it will go lower for sure, and I probably will keep my ziniks as well.
I think it looks really good! Keep up the work and modding. That gold is growing on me..
Thanks! When I bought the car a couple years ago the gold was hideous to me (the car was dirt cheap) but it really has made it's mark on me and there are few around with the same gold color. Ridinonchrome and myself being a few examples but it really has grown on me. I love my car now and it keeps looking better day after day after day. Thanks again to all the comments! Can't wait to black out the fascias along with my sd lip and GPOs.
