holy chit mang! you lucked out pretty hardcore.
nice wheels btw
3 of the wheels are painted the 4th is prepped. I just have to wait on a new tire to get delivered amd mounted. So these won't be on for about a week.
Here's how they came out plastidipped:

I'm going to get some spacers since I can barely put the centercap on because of the axle stud. I'm thinking something like a 1/4"-5/16" should work. The suspension has to settle A LOT, I could get 4 fingers in the rear gap lol. The tires are ~.4" shorter than stock.
that looks great!
those wheels look huge on there and are def. begging for a hair-bigger tire
those look great, im happy this all worked out for you man. i do agree ont the spacers and tires but for now its looking good... is that a butt load of camber on the rear or am i just seeing things?
Can't wait to see it done and all shined up.
If the tires were a 45 sidewall then it'd be the same as stock, after the suspension settles it'll be much better. As for the camber that's just where the suspension is, I don't have any sort of adjustment in the camber.
After doing the test fit I realized how ****ty my brakes and suspension looked. Now I want to paint the calipers. Black or silver, which one should I do?
Silver calipers and black brackets...or vice versa...contrast is where it's at.
Also.
holy zomg tiny brakes...you need at least a 12" upgrade or some FBody's!
Black is the only color that the store had, so maybe silver calipers down the road, and the brakes will definitely get upgraded in the near future. I'll really clean the suspension since everything is filthy.
I also found out while painting the last wheel that the sizes are actually 18x7.5 +45 and 18x9 +40. I wondered why a couple of the tires looked stretched lol.
I went out and shot some better pics of the car:

that's with spacers? 11mm?
if he did the 11mms hed be at 36 offset.. i cant tell.
whatcha do bro? whatever it was it looks real good. i thought it was going to be flush-er though
The 9s are up front and the 7.5s are in the back with a 5/16s spacer which is ~8mm, so they have about +37. None of the local stores had 7/16 spacers unfortunately.
Edit:
The fronts are about where I like them. As for the backs I'd like for them to be a little further out so I may look into longer studs and thicker spacers.
Not at all. I'm sure a slight stretch and. 4" shorter helps but I don't feel a thing
Even my 275's on a 9" wheel hardly rubbed the front at full turn...
