Not a bad recommendation, but that splitter from West Coast speed is 129.99. Much cheaper than I thought.
I priced out a 1/4 x 24 x 75 piece of ABS and it came to about $50. Sound in the ballpark?

I bought it from West Coast Speed. I didn't make it from scratch because I saved myself a lot of time for not to much more money. They did a much better job than I could've done since their stuff is water jetted and it made it easy to mount it. After going through a few different bolt setups to get it to attach I've got it firmly in place. The other nice thing is the holes are slotted so I can move it in and out if I please.

Did you get yours through 6LE??
I honestly have no idea but give it a shot. I bet it'll look nice.

If you are only buying one then yeah $50 for that sounds like a good price. I buy plastic in bull so it's a lot less for me. Also it doesn't take very long to cut and sand one of these, it may be water jetted but when you cut it that part isn't. I consider spencer at WCS a friend but I would rather spend $60 total on a splitter than $130. Then again the splitters I sell are almost $400 because I'm not a fan of just a flat piece of plastic.

It is just a piece of plastic but it has held up well to the steep, short driveways this town likes. I wouldn't spend more than the $130 because I knew it would get tore up. This let me enjoy most of my weekend home since I travel constantly for work so a bunch of time was saved to do other things.

I got GXP brakes swapped on the front with EBC Redstuff pads and stainless lines. Boy do I love being able to lock up the front wheels without even trying. They fill out the wheels real nice as well.

Now the last thing I'm doing to this car is a set of headers finally, 3.8 pulley, and a retune. After this the MG will be getting all my attention/money. After this I'll be real happy with how the car is setup even though I already am.

    Holy crap an update

I grabbed Danielle's projectors before anyone else got ahold of them.

Due to me doing a dumbass I backed into a pole and shattered my tail light so I got new LED tinted ones.

As for the MG it's being a little ***** with inheriting the PO's bandaids and issues. Hopefully back on the road by this weekend.

I decided to try a different color for the wheels on the B. This is called vintage copper I think. I'm not sure if I like it or will try something different. Definitely something along like this though. I'll also pudding the rear wheel to get a better feel.

I like that color with the green paint, but I think that shade of it is a little deep. Eastwood has vintage gold paint that comes in a can but I just looked for it and I don't know if they still make it. But this is what it looks like and its supposed to look classic

The can says Eastwood. This color has grown on me so I think that I'll stick with it.

Sweet MG! My mom just picked up a British racing green 1977 Midget. It's a wire wheel car. They're neat cars. My 6'3" fat ass can't drive it tho. I somehow hit the gas pedal when not even trying to. I like the good wheels with the green. Were gonna paint the wheels on the midget body color. I think that looks sharp with wire wheels.

My 6'5" friend has driven this car. They are bigger than you'd think on the inside aren't they.

I got the wheels all painted up

I put together an order to rebuild the whole suspension, then I'll toss the rubber bumpers for chrome bumpers (or maybe none at all) with valences, and work out the drop after that probably with spacers. After that probably a rebuild motor then I'll start the body work. It's still got a long way to go.

Motor wise I'll probably stick with the stock 4 banger but go high compression, can, head work, and maybe fuel injection and electronic ignition.

I'm still playing around with this car. I decided to make new mounts for the coil overs going off of another design I found here. I got a friend to do the machine work on them so these should be pretty nice. Unfortunately I'm out of town for the next several weeks before I get to play with these.

This is going to be the new mount. No pictured are the bearings that will go in there. I should be able to add a grease joint if I want to.

The spring mount which have a built in roller bearing so these should be quiet and strong. They fit 2.5" springs

Unfortunately the car will end up sitting a little higher. I'm getting to that point that the car is to low.

The GP is back to stock height more or less

I mounted the new bearing mounts and had to change some plans so I couldn't used the ball bearing spring hats like I wanted to. It's a good thing that I had some regular hats laying around.

I also went with the problem solver bushings up front, rear bushings, new ball joints, tie rods, and WBS lateral arms. I haven't gotten a chance to drive it yet with the new stuff unfortunately.

The front splitter will be coming off as well the next time that I'm home.

Because strut travel. I may lower it like a half inch. The spring hats moved the spring down like 2"
