Thread: Dr.Pepper (Headlights and Fog Lights Installed!!)

Had a tough time deciding lol

I gave my old snowflakes to my dad for his Prix since he commutes and needed new tires, so I painted his 05 5 spoke rims and threw them on since they had better tread then what was on the 94-96 wheels.

That's when I liked how the black 5 spokes looked on the car lol so I said I'm gonna need new tires, and put both up for sale saying which ever sold first, I'd keep the other and buy tires for them. Well the 05's sold yesterday so I am keeping the 94-96 wheels. I priced the 94-96 a bit higher to make sure this was the outcome as I like the polished look better lol

So the 9007 5000k's ended up finally evening out, but the 3000k's are still a halogen yellow/white.. Gonna ride it one more day and see if it changes. Here are recent pics of it with everything installed. I bent the hood up so I can actually not look THAT dumb with a busted front end.

Nothing is crooked at all, took a bit of plastic off of my horn though, so it sounds 'kinda' funny... but it's not bad at all. I'm thinking I'm gonna start sanding parts and filling it in myself. Then worry about paint later. Save some cost of the money.. the hood I'll have to just get new.

And I have a stupid smile because I'm trying to look past my glasses and through the camera hole at the same time lmao

lol I bet I can buff out the fender. Gotta get a buffer and learn what to use and not to use. Anyone have suggestions? To a buffer/products to use?

Got new tires coming soon for the Pregens soon. I think I'm gonna try and get in contact with our local tuner and get the car tuned.

Still not happy with the 3000k's so I'm gonna email them soon about them.

They seem to be a normal halogen incandescent bulb to me, not the true yellow I was looking for. They come back and tell me that it is the 3000K bulb and send me a chart of their temp colors:



I don't know about you guys but I don't think I got the 3000K I wanted.

I agree, they do look 4000kish. I don't have a problem waiting for new bulbs, but when they say, yea, that's what our 3000K look like when I've seen what real 3000K look like, I get a little annoyed.

I'm gonna E-Mail them now and ask for new bulbs. Ugh it's such a damn pain to get everything taken apart again.
