I think it sits too high.
Hey, one thing at a time. Tint is coming. Need to get the cracked windshield replaced first. :th_depressed:
It for sure does. She drops down quite a bit when we pile the whole family in and fill the trunk with groceries though. Then there's rubbage.
So, we still need a windshield but the tint is on. Mostly legal. Pay no attention to the Gorilla tape residue. All w-body owners have had to tape a window shut at one time or another. The whole car needs a decent clean up. Just haven't had the time. I also fixed the tire rub. A little inner fender massage with a baseball bat took care of it.

what ya do 35 up front, 5 out back?
man i miss mine right now with gas prices being so damn high.
Looks great. Should keep the sun from killing the interior. And yea, good ol broken window regulator, lol..
20 in the front.
Yeah, the price hit for premium hurts, but it's still better than any of the other V8 trucks we have.Quote:

Yup. Biggest deal is just the heat. People have no idea how intense the sun is here if you've never experienced it first hand.
i would be cutting timing back and running 87. f all this. i turned my truck back down, its on 87 now for a year already, the SS ive got no choice but to run the 93. it wants that when its stock.
I spent the bulk of yesterday replacing power steering lines and a motor mount. The motor mount was cooked and let motor sag enough that the exhaust rubbed a hole through the high pressure side.
All in all it wasn't too bad. Just took a while. Raised the engine and lowered the rear of the cradle. Gave me just enough room to get a wrench on the lines at the rack and sneak the hoses in and out.
Lesson learned. Keep a closer eye on the wife's daily.
them power steering lines are a real treat. lowering the cradle is a must. i have heard ppl say you can reach em from the top reaching down to em. i just dont see it tho lol
Me either. LOL! I mean, you can SEE them from the top, but I'm not sure how the average person would get their hand around the booster and the exhaust. Let alone swing a wrench.
Also had to replace the intake boot. For whatever reason the original got brittle and cracked at the throttle body. $15 at the Pull N Save.
Pretty decent day at the junkyard yesterday. The "H" body plug wire holder, an aluminum valve cover, and a full set of Harland Sharp 1.9:1 roller rockers.
