That's a good list for maintenance to keep the car nice. If you have any oil leaking from the front or rear valve cover, I would say change the gaskets asap. They are easy to do. Fel-Pro is the one to go with for the valve cover gaskets. If you do have the valve covers off at some point, make sure to inspect them for cracks that could also cause a leak. Otherwise it's likely the oil pan gasket that has a small leak. Very common if the car still has the original on there.
I agree with getting a tune down the road. It makes a nice difference, even on a stock car.
Coupler for the supercharger showed up today from ZZP. Also got new headlight assemblies to get rid of these old, dingy, yellowed ones.
Tomorrow or Friday the supercharger oil and belt should arrive so I should have things to do at least half the day on Saturday. :)
If you do valve cover gaskets, always replace the grommets as well. They are what applies pressure to the gasket in order for sealing.
Good tip, Bill. I'm going to take a look at both valve covers this weekend. I wanna say that I remember that the front valve cover looks pretty dry the last time I looked but I've not had a chance to look closely at that one facing the firewall. If by some miracle both look dry I'll just continue moving on down the engine until I start seeing oily residue or just flat out dripping LOL
This weekend I spent a little of time putting in new headlights. Makes a world of difference in how she looks instead of the old yellow, dingy lights. Next on this list for this car is the SC coupler.
