Well guys I think I'm just about done with my mods to my GP. I'm about to move somewhere without a garage or a spot to work on her, so I had a list of things I wanted before we leave and now I'm basically done. Plus it's a 3100, so it's not really worth engine mods anyways.
In high school I drove a big Dodge Ram conversion van. I had it all pimped out with lights, screens, speakers, alarms, etc. Then I drove a 94 Grand Am (same drive train) in college. I also put lights and a sound system in that.
The funny thing is that I have always had my eye on this GP. It just sat and sat in my grandparents garage for years. Unfortunately it wasn't until my grandpa had fallen very ill that I finally got it. When I was younger I imagined myself pimping it out all sorts of crazy, just like my other cars. Funny how being an adult tends to tame everything out.
All my mods are cosmetic. I used to sit out in the snow and wire stuff into my other cars. Somewhere along the way I lost my patience for running wires through cars. Plus GM wiring tends to be s**t as it is and it doesn't need help to break anyways.
So here's what I did:
1) Made the rims black
2) External lighting converted to LEDs
3) Added bug deflector and ventshades
4) Added mud flaps
5) Added black edge trim around the door and trunk edges.
6) Added a black grill covering to the large holes in the bottom of the front bumper
All that is left is to get the windows tinted. I guess the theme is black and brown lol.
