So I was at the JY one lovely day and ran across a beautiful 04 GP (in my state insurance is weird and our JY do things differently, so finding anything like 02+ in a pull it yourself yard is super hard to find. you basically have to go the spaldings which they pull the parts but you pay WAY more) sitting there with some good condition leather seats I pulled those *****ez and paid a whopping 30 bucks for the front and back seats.

    Aww yeah!

Hooking up the harness, Passenger side is in da works.

Driver seat compared to passenger, so much comfy very yes.

    Um

    Finished product... YES

Ive looked for a thread about these seats and they're kind of hit and miss. if anyone would like a write up on how to install these seats id be happy to make a thread.

I decided I'm going to go with a back center console, I found one out of an 03 a couple days ago so ill be installing that in da spring too.

I also got around to installing my FWI that I bought forever ago. time is rarity for me these days so when I have it I spend it on muh car cause nothing makes me happier...... lol Anyway, I had to do a little cutting and messaging to get this monstrosity to fit correctly and not rub or tap against the fender (annoying) but after about 3 hours I got just the way I want it.

It even stays dry surprisingly enough, so at least I don't have to deal with some kind of cowling.

    I did a thing

Sand blasted muh wheels and had them powder coated mirror black, they came out looking great.

While the wheels cured I also under coated the car and the wheel wells.

Well yesterday brought great things to muh car. I have my gauges coming and should be here in the next couple days. Then as soon as I uncover my car it will go to the exhaust shop to get a bung welded on

I can just feel the warm air coming...C'mon spring time!

And I'll just leave this here....

I've been looking around online for a new flex pipe to loose the one that comes on the SD headers and kind of straighten out the weird bends they have going on. I'm looking for one that's a bit shorter, and then I'm having a bung welded on at the same time. Anyone shed some light on where to get a reliable flex pipe section?

Also where did you have your bung welded on for your PLX or whatever WB you may have?

i got a 6 inch dual wall flex for 20 off ebay. you can add another V band to make swapping the flex out later a tad easier, you only have to cut and re weld the v back on a new flex should it fail.

the w/b bung is best in the curve or drain trap area of the dp. i got mine in the rear o2 bung post cat and its reading just fine for me there.

LOL dammit. 3 weeks I scoured to find a Grand Prix pick of a Flip Screen Stereo and you had a pic all along lol.

Still debating on a Flip Screen though. Would love to have one so the wife can watch DVD on long trip but I want my A/C too :P

Nice build, definitely gonna keep track

Thanks man! I definitely love my flip screen and my A/C works just fine without those vents and keeps me nice and cool. This particular stereo has lots of tuning options and great mids/highs.

Started working on my retros the other day, they are coming along okay for being my very first set. I managed to break my first set of halos being a doofus so I ordered another set after I swallowed my pride. These ones are cooler anyway being switchbacks and all. I need to get off my lazy azz and trim up my shrouds and I'll be on my way to getting them adjusted. I cant wait to see what all this retro hype is about...

Last night was a productive one to say the least. I had one hell of a time getting the lenses off my old headlights for the new retro'd housings, I started at 225F @ 25min in the oven and no avail. Then went to 250F for an additional 10 min and it finally loosened but not quite all the way. another 10 min @ 270F did the trick. So this morning I am just working on sealing the outsides of the lenses with some black RTV to ensure no leaks.

Its safe to say: I'M REALLY EXCITED

    Pics:

    Test fitting:

Old housings in for lens removal:

    Random engine shot:

Tonight I'll do final aiming and hot spot adjusting and then I'll seal the projectors too.
