Well, thought I might as well tell the Grand story of my crappy Prix(s), lol.
Bought my first (well, sorta, I co-owned an '06 CX LaCrosse for my first two semesters of school that was side-rollled/skidded, but that's neither here nor there, lol) car in Indiana, in my quest for a semi-rust free sub-140k loaded 6th gen GT I ended up with a beaten up, rusted rockers, poor paint, loaded minus Bose GTP....(at least it had free extra '97 GTP parts! haha), that I had to drive without AC, plates, or a title 800 miles home (at least it rained most of the way in late May, and only one picky WI trooper pulled me over for broken tail lights and no plates). As you can already tell I'm an expert at making great decisions.
Got it home and took the hideous bra off, discovered it's existence was not to keep bugs off but to hide the large crack in a galaxy silver bumper, and to my further inspection discovered that it had hit something as the rear bumper support had a dent in it and the hood was from a 3.1 SE. Yay.
6/15: painted calipers, replaced caliper assembly on rear right, new rear pads
8/15: replaced split serpentine belt with a Gatorback, replaced K&N oil filter and flex pipe on air intake with new red rubber 45 and 9" AEM dry filter, painted front engine braces
9/15: redneck replaced fuel filter and few inches of line leading to it, replaced MAF
10/15: replaced coolant elbows with aluminum ones and replaced valve cover gaskets and grommets
11/15: had local shop fix my leaking AC (tried to fill it up with Freon back in July but heard a leak), and only a couple of my vents worked, couldn't figured it out, ended up being the hvac door actuator and mode module ($600 later...) he also discovered that my mufflers were completed rusted out and leaking O2 into the cabin
12/15: got complete '07 exhaust with 40k on it off of BisMan (like Craigslst for western North Dakota), got a Resonator from a member here - replaced the whole set-up under mine, replaced window regulator (found out that Coupe ones ARE different, lol), replaced front bumper with slightly less-crappy silvermist one
1/16: replaced upper radiator hose (mine just rotted apart), grooved idler pulley went out so I replaced that with a steel one, and replaced melted O2 harness that was wrapped around my headers and while I was at it replaced the O2 sensor
I've also painted front and rear lower fascia black, removed sanded, primed, and painted my driver's side appliques, replaced all the top door panel trims and glued them on, replaced rear window switch, and front passenger, replaced over half of the door panel clips with those awesome GM replacement ones from Amazon that are 200x better, re-glued the in-trim door visors on the driver's side, swapped mirrors for black ones, threw Halo headlights I got a deal off of CL on, painted some more engine bay stuff, replaced front speakers, gone through four radios, tail lights, and all kinds of random crap.

Then I got this back in like November:
Did front sway bar, valve cover gaskets/grommets, coolant elbows, spark blugs - sold it to my brother, he had a shop do the entire front suspension and he did the UIM gasket.

So, since June of '15 I've went from a very basic vehicular knowledge to knowing more about 3800s and Grand Prixs than most rational people should, plus a good many life lessons on buying cars along the way...
Well, I hope that was entertaining to someone besides me. haha
