still seem like to much, but not to bad really.

check it for rust real good, rockers and rear strut towers.

If it has original plugs and wires, I wonder how the rest of the maintenance was done.

The steering wheel controls can be brought back to life with an adapter. Price is steep though, especially considering it's NA.

Yeah thats steep. Plugs and wires are easy/cheap DIY. Radio is nice just get an adapter and wire it in. Check rust under the car, and the strut towers, check oil seepage on the oil pan and valve covers, check LIM gaskets (probably never done), if old plastic ones, check oil for coolant. Theres a thread somewhere on buying a wbody that has all this info.

If it's as nice as he says it is, minus minor things here and there, that price is just fine by me.

You are going to pay more for good condition cars because it's hard to find rust free cars in the north.

as adecker said , underneath the car will give you the truth about the condition of the car. i thought mine was in good condition for the asking price until i put it up on the rack and looked underneath it . what wasn't covered in fluids was covered with rust. had i done due diligence before i handed over the cash , he would have accepted less or i would have walked away. live and learn.

These cars are good for about 3-400k miles, that said theres a few things that should be watched out for. (coming from someone who has owned 2 GTPs over 200k) The coolant elbows, they blow when the engines get older, try to tell if they are new. wheel bearings, ball joints tie rod ends at this milage, see if you can jack it up, play with the wheel left to right movement, bad tie rod, top to bottom bad axle. listen to the super charger see if it sounds like driving over cardboard when the idle changes, if so bad coupler.

I buy sub $1000 cars so I have more issues than most.

Id pay 1900 for that car if everything checked out, dont be afriad of the miles, be afraid of lack of maintenance.
