Hi new here and looking at a 07 Grand Prix the owner says "Supercharged. Car starts but won't stay running . Dash says disabled start due to ( anti) theft. He's asking $1200. Is this a easy fix. My wife has a Grand Am that we did a Anti theft bypass on when her car started acting up. Will this work on a Grand Prix?

We couldnt really tell you for sure.

You would have to try a few things and figure out what does and doesnt work. Perhaps the PK3 keys are the issues, or that it needs to relearn the keys or maybe even something wrong inside the coloum that reads the key as you put it in the ignition.

There is no real way to bypass the system that I know of.

what ever it is wrong will cost less to fix then the rest of what the car should cost you if being sold at book value. depending on the rest of the cars over all condition of course.

1200 is pretty damn cheap for a 07. security issues can be pretty simple. i say go for it.

Thanks guy's, now for one other question are there any other major problems that these cars have? Or are they pretty good for repair issues and reliability?
