Okay so I pulled off my fuel rail today and I noticed a plastic piece from my #3 injector was missing and my only guess is that it fell into the combustion chamber. Will this problem sort itself out, hopefully with the 3800 pooping out the piece?

The o ring fell off too? If the o ring stuck in the injector boss I don't think that piece could get in there.

No I don't have a cat. I'm currently installing sd headers with no cat atm and I'm also in the process of doing my lim gaskets. And oh no it wasn't the o ring that fell in there. It was a plastic piece that helps keep the o ring on. It's really hard to explain, but thanks the responses guys!!

Ah OK I know what your talking about now. Yeah hopefully won't be an issue. Worst case is it gets caught just right in an open valve and bends it. If it was my car that would likely happen lol. Hopefully you have better luck than me?

Could pull a plug and bring the piston up. Not sure how good you are at fishing .....

I've done it several times, I just toss it back together and fire it up like nothing ever happened.

Yup, small **** like that wont do enough damage to cause and issues. Have you ever seen a car that chipped a piston? Some of those chunks of piston that come off are about 2" long and the most damage that does is destroy the plug.

Thanks for giving me some confidence ffdp and slick. It was only about 1/4 of the little plastic piece too.
