Can someone tell me what this is?

Not worth it unless you plan on extending and tucking the whole wire harness. Its on my winter project list. I can't stand that big mess of ugliness around the fuel rails.

That's wat my plan was. I never knew it was back there until I put my motor back together and now it's pretty easy to see. Just cut it and wrap the exposed wires in electrical tape.

Because it's a pointless wire that does nothing. It cleans up the bay nicer lol.

i found a wire dangling under my car when i first bought it. had i cut it off i'd have no horn today. can't figure out why the PO had it unplugged to begin with ...:th_scratchhead:

Let me ask you guys what you think I paid? I will say it was a lot cheaper than I thought so I'm not gonna complain.

We'd charge 2 hours plus the elbows probably. Plus coolant if the current stuff is nasty.

i hope around 50. but 2 hrs would be 150 and parts. so up to 175 cause parts get marked up at the shop.

Well I had the elbows and coolant for the LIM gasket. They charged 1 hour of work. So It was $90. Honestly, I thought it was gonna be in the $150+ range, so that's why I'm happy.

How did you disable your DRL's?

no way id hand over 90 bucks for a elbow swap. but the truth is you didnt get raped really. the shop has over head.

Unplugging the resistor in the drivers side dash access panel.

Yeah I work there, 2 hours sounds normal. But if I put myself back in the diy shoes I wore 2 years ago, heck no I'm not paying that much for elbows lol.
