How hard is it to redo them? Like getting the jb weld off the old ones.. I was stupid and put a set of eBay projectors in and they're crap so upgraded to morimotos 6.0.. Thanks

I imagine it'd be easier to just buy new headlights and put them in those. The plastic capsule would probably crack with all the yanking you'd be doing to break the jb weld.

    This

You'll either destroy the projector getting the jb weld off

Or destroy the reflector getting the jb weld off

    Or both

Just spend the what $50-80 and get another sweet of replacement housings and start over

    What?

I siliconed mine back together instead of using butyl, I'd imagine I could get that apart without much damage. Buy yeah get a new set after jb weld.

Well I really don't give a crap about the old projectors.. Like I said they're crap. Would taking a cutting bit to it work? I can always sand down and paint again too

Just get a new stock set, put them on and start working on the retros. If they fail to meet your standards, start retrofitting the new stock set.

I have the same problem with mine. Mine are NOT ones Classy has made though I made them myself. They're sealed tighter than a sub and still haze up on the inside. Just happens with some for whatever reason. Not sure what makes it different than sealed from the factory but it's a pita.
