Guess I've already inherited issues right off the bat. Drove the car on my lunch today, got up on it looked at my DIC boost gauge no boost...? Got on it a couple more times deff didn't feel any boost... The oil for the SC was just changed before I bought it. AC was off and have about 1/4 of gas. Any ideas? Thanks

Popped the hood when I got home (26) miles from work, SC belt was hanging on fully intact the Idler pulley snapped off and is laying under the drive belt. Should be an easy fix. Anyone have a part number for it? It's the smooth one.

they should, thats just whats on the list. try to get a metal one. they come both ways. plastic and metal. metal is a few bucks more.

For anyone looking for part # or sizes, it was a T47 torx bit duralast pulley (metal) part # 231081 SC belt 660K6. Both at autozone.

The autozone pulleys suck just fyi, the bearings start to squeak after a year or so.

FWIW I've talked drunkenly about and weighted the two options many times.

Metal or plastic pulley to me doesn't matter IMO. It's all about the bearing inside. If that bearing starts to go, the pulley has an issue and you have an issue.

Plastic pulley if the bearing locks up will stop and the belt will melt it fast. Likely resulting in you needing a belt and pulley.
Metal pulley if the bearing locks up will stop and you will smoke the belt pretty fast. Resulting in you needing a belt and pulley.

Moral of my rambling is.. which is actually better or worse? Notice the squeak and replace the pulley before you kill a belt.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Weight could play a factor between metal and plastic.
In terms of overall vehicle weight, and rotating assembly weight affecting revs etc.
But just with a few idler pulleys, I imagine the difference to be negligible at best.
