    Hey ive got an 06 grand prix and i was wondering how in the hell to get the airbag off. it was blown when i got it and have never gotten around to fixing it till now.. ive been looking for videos on how to do if for our cars but none in specific.. so was wondering if anyone had a video or a link or something thatll help me get this mother trucker off.. thanks

    on the back of the wheel is 4 small holes, put the largest screw driver you can fit in the hole till it stops goin gin, and turn it, you'll feel it hit a lever on a spring.

    with the screw driver turned pull that corner and hold it up, then repeat for the next one on the same side. then do the same for the other side.

    once its free lift it slowly as there is a wire or two to it. the air bag plug pulls right out the air bag, the horn wires are self explanatory.

    every now and then you need to bow to a regal guy lol especially when they direct you how to stop pulling your hair out.....


    how that new wheel come out? i dont recall seeing pics of it.

    3m dinoc wrap.. The pieces were originally chrome but that wouldn't work for me since they were in terrible shape (unlike the actual steering wheel) and everything else is brushed aluminum and I didn't want to paint em since they just seemed like paint wouldn't hold up so I gave the wrap a try.

    i had to take off the bottom steering wheel cowl to be able to get a screwdriver in there the right way but it worked good!

    turning the steering wheel helps make the holes clear the column. did for my car.
