Hey guys, my name is Matt and I'm from Flint, MI. I've had a few grand prixs and other Ws in the past (Cutlass convertible, Turbo Grand Prix, a rusted out sedan I got for free and traded for a 93 SE that I then found to be rusted out worse structurally, a 95 Z34 Monte), but I currently have 2: My DD which is an $1100 04 GT2, and my baby, a '92 5 speed GTP. Nastiness when I got it (don't have a good shot of the beat up hub caps)
Cleaned up, no hubcaps, bra (minor hood damage from PO hitting a deer at some point), new(er) headlights, tinted tails a bit (still need to do the reverse and third light). Plans are to possibly get it tinted and maybe some slight lowering springs, I need to finish stripping and get tires on my first gen 5 spokes that will be painted black, and otherwise I plan to drive this beast for 5 or 6 years. about 178k on the clock right now, no major issues. Bought for $1100, put about $400 into her and have been driving her for a year and a half.
My GTP I've had for about 5 years now. I bought her for $1000 after it had been sitting for a year or more. The guy I bought it from tried swapping the alternator but couldn't, so I got a deal. Towed her home and did lots of things.
