Anyone know a place or person in or around Charlotte, NC that can weld my cat into my speed daddy headers. I just talked with a few repair shops and they will not touch the cat that i have, something about emissions. I have zzp's high flow cat.

I'd try and find a mom and pop shop that will do anything for cash.

Some of the bigger stores just don't want to liable for not installing a "Factory replacement" cat onto something.

No its not that strict from what i can tell, i had the zzp high flow cat on their downpipe before this and it passed emissions fine. Yeah i just need to find a mom and pop place. Also i would ship out the cat and pipe that it needs to be welded to if anyone here can weld.

I can weld them not a problem, but after shipping it might just be easier to find a local mom and pop shop. If you can't find a local shop i am near Nashville, so just PM me and if it comes down to it I can do it for $20 you just need to get the shipping done.

Do you have pictures of the down pipe and cat?

get a pair of 3 inch band clamps. clamp the cat in, i just did that to get through inspection, the engines coming out soon, so ill weld it up then.

the band clamps dont leak one bit either.
