Hey everyone, I just bought a 2001 GTP with 140K last week and have been lurking around the forums troubleshooting issues and figured it was time to say hi and share.

So far other than a basic wash I've done an oil change because it was overdue, transmission fluid/filter change to fix hard shifting and the fluid looked very old, charged the AC, adjusted tire pressures, cleaned the MAF to try to fix the P0102 code then ordered a new one, ordered new plugs, wires, multifunction switch to fix the brake lights/stuck hazard lights and added fuses to the lumbar/heated seats and interior lights. Now other than installing all of the parts I ordered and testing the heated seats I have a flaky issue with the interior lights sometimes staying on and only turning off after a period of time or when I disconnect the battery which may be the BCM from what I have been reading and the front door speakers and 1 of the front tweeters are not working but some of the wires from the Bose amp in the trunk have been stripped so it shouldn't be too hard to troubleshoot (famous last words). I love how this car drives though

    Hi.

Hopefully you got ac delco plugs coming, no plats.

And some new headlights and a plate filler and that front end will look great.

I went iridium since I'm leaving the engine stock and the only thing I may do in the future is add a downpipe when the cat plugs up. I was recommended 605 copper but decided against since they wear out so fast. Headlights and taillights are on the todo list as well as either getting the hail dents out of the hood or replacing it. Any idea who sells plate fillers? I checked ebay but no silver.

You could always buy a filler plate and paint it, search some junk yards, or even wait around and see if any go up for sale in the for sale section. I'm not sure if there's a place you can actually order them from.

A guy on the W body classified group on Facebook has some for sale. I'm not sure if he has silver still or not.

Just read through comment's and he has a few left.

I did away with the plate space on mine as well as the Pontiac badge. I like the clean look.

Awesome, I sent him a message to see if he has 1 left thank you! That looks nice lewis, I don't have the patience for it though....I've been putting off body work on a classic Toyota I have for a while because I'll spend so long trying to make it perfect lol

New headlights, taillights, tires, and front plate cover (showing how faded the bumper paint is). Also did the LIM gaskets and elbows a few months back plus the flexplate this past weekend since it was cracked.

And here are the latest pics!
