    Hello all,

Just wanna stop by and introduce myself. My name is Joe, I am from Chicago but live in Hampton, VA for the time being. I just traded in my Monte SS and bought a 2006 GXP which is my third GP (94 GTP/01 GT) I used to be a member of ClubGP and made the switch over from MonteCarloForum..anyway, I can't wait to get started on here and see other rides and show off mine once I get it looking nice.

well, thats what I'm here for..I'm not too sure how big the aftermarket for LS4s is, all I really see is intake swaps and cams (which I'll prbly do) but I feel like there is more that can be done

Weld in new mufflers, save yourself money.

Straight pipes will just drone like crazy.

I had straight pipes on my GT and MC SS, the drone was tolerable, but also with a almost half as big engine lol

If you plan to keep the DoD/AFM system then you'll understand why it'll sound bad when it kicks down into 4 cylinder mode.

Alot of people get a tune and turn DoD off, to keep it a V8 all the time and less chance at a DoD lifter failure.

A tune, trans cooler (must do), 91+ octane fuel and general maintence are really all one needs to do. Anything else is would be for performance gains.
