Okay so in the process of lowering my car from the jack it hit and bent my oil pan breaking the sensor inside the oil pan. I assume this cuts something off because while driving the car would stall really bad and my kr would sky rocket. We got the new sensor but the problem is the new sensor doesn't fit due to the bend. Is therea an easier way to fix this without having to eemremove the oil pan because its going to be a pain. Can i just somehow tape the broken sensors wires together or somehow remove the connection so it won't stall? I don't mind the fact if the sensor is removed it won't warn me about low oil. Can I just cover the whole and somehow run the car without this sensor?

Sorry for the late response. It was pretty bad but managed to flaten the dent a bit from the inside without removing anything. The sensor went in and locked up tightly however on my way to work my oil light kept flashing occasionally. But the engine stall is gone.
